Does what it's supposed to do
It's a high pressure gas cylinder cap. You should never transport a welding bottle without a safety cap. Make sure you have the right size and thread pitch for your application. I bought this one for a 280 cf oxygen bottle. It fits just fine, and there are no obvious defects.

Did not fit my oxy tank but looked like it should
Did not fit my oxygen tank. I only got 1 thread in before it bound up and would not go any further. They may be metric. But that being said it was the right size (except the threads) and was well constructed, I would be giving it a 5 if it fit.
