NOH Foods of Hawaii Hawaiian Style Teri-Burger Seasoning Mix - 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

My wife is from Hawaii and the NOH Foods seasoning mixes are just required items in our pantry. We always use the Teri-Burger mix in our Loco Moco, plain hamburgers or meatloaf. It's easy to use and just marinates that desired teriyaki flavor right to the meat. It must be addicting because I don't think we could cook hamburger without it.

I first had teri-burgers in Hawaii around 1980 and loved the taste. I found this Noh mix in a store there, brought it home, made it and it was a hit with the family. You have to add water to the mix and then add the ground beef, so the formed burger is first a little soggy, so they must be made in a frying pan, not a grill, but it makes a tasty, delicious burger. This mix is not sold in my area, so I’m glad I can find it on Amazon.

I was born and raised in HAWAI’I with Noh products. But at 46 I had to move to North Carolina. I can’t make much dishes from home but thanks to Amazon I can make my Teri loco mocos and burgers here and not miss home so much. Plus the price is comparable to the price in HAWAI’I. Just a tip: mix in an egg and break up two pieces of bread to make patties extra juicy! So ono! (yummy)

I used this sauce to make teriyaki hamburgersadded a slice of cheese lettuce and tomatoes!It was yummy 😋

I added some soy sauce to it and it tasted better.

I've always loved the teriburger mix. Every time I go home I buy some to take back home with me. When my son told me it was on amazon.com I had to check it out. I just wish it wasn't so expensive that's why I gave a rating of 4 stars. Oh well beggars can't be choosers.

I'm an island girl that is currently living on the mainland and I miss our teri burgers! I was surprised when I came across this and had to give it a try! If you get the mixture right, it takes just like the teri burgers back home! The texture is weird but it shouldn't fall apart! The first time I made this, I put bread crumbs just in case because I was worried it wouldn't stay together but I tried without the second time and it was fine.
