4 year owner, love it.
Love it. Seriously. Delivers on performance. Made very well after four years of use. Crank and retrieval still holding up strong. Great for keeping in place to tie off, park under a shade tree, slow fish a spot. I often drop when I hook up with a big fish to stop me from drifting into trouble while engaged. *Advise: DONT USE in heavy current with hangup potential. Carry a knife in case chain/anchor gets stuck. Especially if using from the Stern of kayak.

Can’t live without it.
This will completely change your kayak fishing experience. I use an eight pound anchor.

Better than a powerpole mic o and hundreds of dollars cheaper
Buy this before you ever consider a power pole micro. Especially if you fish smaller rivers and streams that may not have much overhead clearance.

Purchase experience was top notch
Transaction exactly as you hope they'll go. Arrive at my door within about 24 hours. Had it installed within minutes. Since I already have another mounted on my kayak, I already knew I'd be receiving a quality part. Fishing Online is top notch, to boot. Thanks, as always, guys!!

I'm happy with it
Works pretty good. Slap the handle counterclockwise, and it drops the anchor. If you pair this with the anchor chute, there isn't a very good way to quietly drop anchor. You can still avoid the splash if you catch the line with your other hand and ease it into the water before completely turning loose. In my opinion that isn't a big deal anyway since either the current or wind that is making you drop anchor will cover the sound anyway.

How did I live without it
I can’t say enough good about it. Made very well. Comes with very good rope. I questioned it at first but soon forgot why I was ever concerned. Winds a 3.5lb anchor with very little resistance. The release is the most awesome feature. Just bump it in reverse and she free spools. Once it stops, tighten the wench and your set. A little pricey but worth the trouble and money saved on diy gadgets.
