These are so cute and work well. Easy to use and wash. I need to buy another set or two for gifts.

These make me smile every time I use them, and they do keep simmering soups etc from boiling over.

These barnyard animal pot lid lifters are fantastic. They work like they should, are easy to clean and a great bargain.

I just love these little pot lid lifts! Not only are they adorable, but they are also very functional. I use them whenever I am making soups, stews, etc. in my Staub pots. They make a huge difference with the Staub’s because they don’t need to have the lid “offset” from the pot which means that you don’t have steam/water accumulating on the lid and then draining onto the stove. Instead, the lid lip is set in the pot on one side and the lifter keeps the lid open at just the right angle on the other side allowing steam to escape and your broth to condense beautifully.

I bought these cute, farm animal lid lifters and stuck one in Christmas gifts as a useful, little surprise. Of course, I kept a few for myself and have used them a few times now. I hate the mess of my pots boiling over onto my ceramic top stove so figured that these were a worthwhile investment to avoid that, and they have been.They fit neatly onto the edge of my pots, keeping the lids up to let steam and heat escape, just enough. I've had no issues with them melting or disfiguring but it might be an issue with a gas stove if your pot is smaller than your burner. This is a no-brainer to me, but head's up for you newer cooks.Growing up and living out in the country, I love these clever lid lifts and will update if I have any new info to add.

I really didn't know how these were going to work but since I got them nothing has boiled over. They are great.

I was tired of propping lids open with a ladle or precariously tilting the lid to let out steam when boiling something only to have it crash down. These guys not only do the job way more effectively, but that are a joy to look at.
