This Tweeter is actually well made,Heavy magnet, clear high end not harsh. I believe it’s usable frequency down to to 2k? (Correct me if I’m wrong) but I think it really starts around 4K.I had to load in the rain a week ago for a rehearsal, I have a Kustom Groove 410H. Being pushed by a Kustom Groove 1200HD head (1200 watts RMS, class A power) Couldn’t cover the cab all the way and it’s pouring. so I’m sure a drop of water made it in but it worked perfectly for that rehearsal and the shows I played after.I’d give this a shot if price is a limiting factor.Note!! You made need to route out some wood In your cabinet. This is to allow the terminals to slide throw without damaging them. I broke one of mine but was able to repair it, And still works perfect.

This is actually the second pair of these I bought. I tried to solder the power and grounds onto the connection points, they worked great and then rapid corroded and stopped working after a week. I bought these again and a 100 count of spade female connectors and they've been perfect. I fabed them into my door panel and tapped into a power source from my front door speakers. I suggest having after market amplifiers like I do and not just trying to replace stock tweeters. My amp has a high frequency setting that filters out all the base, I turned it onto full (no filter setting, normally for regular speakers) and they sounded like doodoo. With my filter channel I only have to turn my radio up half as loud. These things are crazy powerful and look pretty dope if you mount them in a spot people can see them. The tweeter itself feels very solid and i had an easy time installing (probably because I used zip ties lololol) but these won't vibrate because they are supposed to only have high frequency sounds coming to them such as voices or instruments. I haven't notice them getting scratchy at high volumes like my stock tweeters did and everything especially quick snare notes in rap songs are very crisp. They worked perfectly for what I wanted which was to raise how loud the high frequency sounds were since I had just installed dual twelve inch subwoofers in my trunk. These equaled out the bass and sounds very well. They would also simply make a great addition or replacement to a factory system but I would only hook these up if you have an aftermarket amp with a high frequency filter or if you car had stock tweeter. One thing i noticed was that not a lot of people knew which side was positive and negative. If you look around the male connections, either one, there will be yellow on the negative one and red on the positive. It can be hard to see but they don't put the color on the male connections themselves because it will effect the signal. Look around the base of the male connections closer to the body of the tweeter to see the charge color. It won't have a crazy impact on the quality on the sound but heck why wouldn't you just hook it up correctly. I hope this review helped and I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for loud, crisp voices or instruments in the car audio system.

I have replaced 2 blown home stereo tweeters with these and they work just fine. my volume levels are very high for long periods of time. now you can spend a lot more money on the exact same tweeter with someone elses brand name. I know because I did

Ohm rating is 4-8 with makes it really confusing. Testing these, they appear to be around 6 Ohms. I got two of these hooked up parallel to an amp RMS Power @ 3 ohms 300 watts x 1 channels (or 150 to each). These things are LOUD! Very crisp sound quality and a very good price.Other thoughts:These sound awesome but I keep getting this hissing sound from these (even when audio is off). I have to turn the gain almost all the way down to make it less noticeable. This is not a new amp and I did not notice any hissing with other speakers. I'm not sure if it is the tweeters or the amp. The amp has it's own crossover but I also use the Crossover Capacitor that was included. Maybe I will try without the Crossover Capacitor or use a Ground Loop Isolator and see what happens.

These are so far one of the best tweeters out there the voice is definitely going to stand out you can clearly hear it from outside the car it is the best definitely recommend specially if you have subs the bass and the uper voices are definitely going to even out

For $8 this was the smartest choice for my budget build. Upon unpacking I noticed one had a blemish that was touched up, I went with it not that noticable. Install did require prep and a little skill these are not cabinet ready. My custom pro audio application have these at 3.5khz, they sound very clean and can take power with no problem, extremely happy I would definitely buy more of these. Anyone blowing these need to check there crossover network

Very pleased with this purchase. Only caveat, the paper hole template they include is not 1:1 size... the stated measurements are correct but it's not to scale... so don't use their paper template to directly trace your circle opening. Also, the tweeter includes a 3.3uf/100V non-polarized capacitor. I replaced it with a 2.2uf just for my taste. Very happy with this tweeter.UPDATE: The PCB tab on the side of the tweeter broke. Very cheap material used. I think just from the vibration of the woofer it weakened, and the wire pulling down on it just finally broke it. Revised to 1 star.
