Blue Moon Mix Crocus 20 Bulbs - Blues and Purples - 8/9cm

They seem like good quality bulbs won't know until Spring if they grow well and are rhe correct colors. I highly suggest only ordering these or other bulbs/garden stuff as they don't come sealed completely to prevent them from rotting so they will get dirt and debris on other items shipped together with them. They didn't bloom the first spring but they had a lot of blooms the 2nd spring.

I had these in my cart for a year! My daughter made an order and added these for me and when I got them 7 of the bulbs were moldy and unusable. NOW, I have to drive to an ups 45 minutes away to return. Ridiculous!

Never came up after planting

Really happy to say that literally every single bulb I planted in the fall has now come up this spring!! First blooms are all the same color but other smaller buds look darker purple so seems accurate on the colors too!! Very happy with this purchase.

Well out of 20 planted in October only 4 have sprouted, 2 bright yellow ones and 2 white and purple ones, no signs of any other ones .

I wish that the seller emphasized more that these bulbs need cold to sprout. I put half in a potter and planted at the same time as some canna bulbs. Cannas all are 3 inches tall and the crocus is just squishy and being eaten by maggots. I had left the other bulbs in the bag in a shady cool place expecting the bulbs to be dried and nothing would happen as none were sprouting when they arrived. Left them alone for 2 weeks and the bags were filled with moldy bulbs. I took the ones that were not completely molded or squishy and removed everything but the hard part of the bulb to removed all mold and ensure they were cleaned and but them in moist paper towels in a sealed bag and am going to leave them in the fridge for 2 weeks in a dark part. Let’s home maybe I can trick them into thinking it’s spring? Maybe start them indoors after that since it’s quite hot outside which the cannas love!

Planted these in ATL, ga in the late fall/early winter and they’ve all come up in late feb. they look great but are a smaller variety. Planted them 3-4 in one hole and it looks really nice :) planted them intermixed with pickwick crocus as well. If your zone can tolerate it, plant them in the fall for a late winter/early spring bloom

I bought these last fall. The instructions that came with them said to plant once night time temps are regularly in the 40°s. It took a while before that happened where I live, and the instructions said to store in a deep freeze until then. I didn't. No reason, just didn't put them in the freezer. This means by the time I put them in the ground, all 20 bulbs had started sprouting little thorny roots. I was scared that meant I had ruined them and they wouldn't grow, but I put them in the ground anyway. It also obviously means all 20 were live and healthy when I received them. It's now early March and 16 of the 20 have sprouted tender green shoots! I'm so thrilled I didn't kill them all with my mistake. And 4 of them have even shown the beginnings of beautiful dark indigo blooms. I'm pretty excited to see what they look like as they mature. I'm sure next year they will be even bigger and more beautiful! UPDATE so I should have waited 2 more weeks to post this. All 20 have sprouted, and about half of them have put up at least 1 bloom. They're all a gorgeous deep indigo with white veining. I am so thrilled.
