Conair just built a better steamer! The Extreme Steam Upright Fabric Steamer features dual heat technology that brings water to a boil in the base, and then heats it again in the nozzle to release hotter steam. The ultra-high heat temperature creates smaller water molecules that move faster to penetrate deep into any fabric. 1800 Watts of power helps eliminate dust mites and bedbugs and the 100-second heat-up feature gets the job done quickly. Concentrated steam is up to 40% hotter and passes through fabric 3x faster for professional results! Some Important Tips: Decalcify before first use keeping hose upright

Conair ExtremeSteam = More steam = less work and less time.
To my knowledge, this is the only home garment steamer that features pressurized steam. After my last one (orig purchased at Costco) died after about 5 years of steady use, I went about looking for a reliable replacement. Thinking I'd use the opportunity to "upgrade" to a purportedly better model, I thought I'd order the top of the line Rowenta (IS6300 Master Valet). It seemed built well and boasted some really nice features, but also one absolutely fatal flaw: it sputtered more then it steamed. And when it did steam, it was just what you'd expect if someone rigged a garden hose to a teapot. Weak. Fast forward --> back to the old (new) Conair. Ahhh, forced steam. Yeah, it's a bit noisier than your average steamer, and yes, the extra moving parts might make for a higher potential failure rate, but the rate at which it issues the steam is such a game changer - makes quick work of anything you throw at it. There may be a better steamer out there somewhere, but not for the money (I paid $66).

Got a defective batch I believe... worked only once!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Bought this after my Shark's handheld Press & Refresh kit failed after 5+ years. Upon arrival of this item, I used it and worked great the first time... got 5 collar shirts and 5 slack pants along with some about 8 ties steamed and de-wrinkled with its crease attachment. Comes the 2nd weekend and 2nd time using it, it started spitting water even after proper storage per its instructions(used distilled water always). No matter what I try, it keeps spitting water... very dangerous and hot. Thankfully I didn't burn myself or it could've been a hefty lawsuit on the way, jk. Let the video speak for itself as I'm attaching here and judge for yourself. I even let it sit a few days after it failed the 2nd time and thought tried for 3rd time, still no luck...still spitting water. Looks like I'm looking back into getting a Shark brand or a Jiffy(read reviews that it seems Jiffy are holding up their value). This item failed to meet my high expectations! When it worked, it worked like a charm! Sadly, I've decided to pack it up and do a proper refund.

Will last you a few months at most
The steamer actually worked ok in the beginning. Although I really didn't like the attachment (once you attach it, you will need a plier to push the attaching "clip" to disengage it. It really shouldn't be this difficult to simply remove an attachment. However when it was working, it pumped out decent amount of steam and seemed to work well. I don't think the hanger and the pants holder were well designed because they never stay in place and clothing kept falling off.But the biggest gripe is, it died after about....10-15 uses, about two tankful of water. I use distilled water as recommended. And left it about unused for about a year, and now it just keeps beeping and doesn't pump out any steam. I checked my tank, seems to be ok, float in the tank is floating and water flows out when I poke the bottom outlet with a chopstick. However it just doesn't seem to be flowing into the machine.I've used some other ConAir product and sadly this one is a disappointment. I'm going to spend a bit more to get a better brand. 10 uses for almost a hundred bucks just isn't going to cut it.

Some pros and cons.
This is my third Conair clothes steamer. The water reservoir is much smaller than previous models. The height is also shorter. The built in hanger is not useful at all, I would have preferred hooks to place hangers with the clothes. On the plus; the steam is very strong, it takes very shorter amount of time to steam out wrinkles.

I LOVE IT ....
It Took me a really long time to find a good quality steamer! It's hard to choose a steamer that is reliable and can cater to your individual needs. BUT this steamer made by Conair is a GOOD QUALITY Steamer. I trust Conair products i've used them all my life. That is why I chose this one and also because it had the specific capabilities I was looking for.. 45MIN of continuous steaming Really comes in handy When your steaming a lot of clothes at Once.. It Easily rolls around and goes where ever you need it to go.. The designs is very Functional. BUT NOT MADE FOR THE LAZY. If you are lazy this steamer is not for you. B/c after a while your hand will get tired! And the extension cord could be longer. If you're using it around the house be prepared to sweat and get hot and tired Fast.If you're using this to steam clean your curtains you will have to set it on something high. Like a foot rest or pedestal or chair whatever you can find. Be creative but don't complain that the cord is not long enough! For the price you're paying it's a Good deal. I take comfort in that, I can steam clean my foam mattress which I did. twice already and all my tufted bar stools and couch Cushing that were dry-clean only.I also used it on my delicate office dresses. and husbands works shirts.its a great buy! I LOVE IT TO PIECES.

gets super hot and therefore steams your clothes to absolute perfection
This steamer gives life back to my clothes, as I say to anyone that will listen. I've even convinced several family members to replace there old steamers with this baby. Below are the features that sold me.1. Steel plate; gets super hot and therefore steams your clothes to absolute perfection. I've even used it with an iron board to get crisp folds prior to sewing.2. Double heated system; you can turn on the steamer and walk away without it continuously spitting out steam/water drops. When you're ready to us, simply push the button on the steamer and wait a few seconds and you're good to go. With the double heated system you don't get water drops/splatters on your clothing, just good old steam!3. Hose; it really moves with you with little to no resistance.

Easy to assemble.
I had to return this product as it was cumbersome to use. The fixed hanger isn’t versatile to use as its stationary and you cannot move it. Thus you would have to put a top over and stretch or come from the bottom up. Good for shirts and blouses that are all buttons but not practical for anything else and so, useless to me as once my garment is on its own hanger, why would I remove it and place it this one to then take back off and place back on original hanger...? It would have been better if this was an option use and you could remove. It would also be useful to have a hook that you can just use your own hangers and a hook at the back so you can line up a few garments at a time. Pants/trouser clips...again another useless feature...I am only 5’3 and so kneeling on the floor to get to the bottom on pants/trousers was a real pain on my knees and back if I stooped. The actual pole length for hanging pants top and bottom with clips...useless unless you are maybe a small child or 5 foot or less as the pants I wear are longer than the polls allow too clip at the top and bottom. The actual standing pole....again even for a shirt I had to bend. Did I mention I’m only 5’3 so I’m not sure who this was built for but if you are tall then the pole height is just not high enough. I did like the steam that it produced, very hot and it gives you a button to start and stop the steaming process. The cloth covered hose is good too as plastic ones heat up quickly. It was easy to assemble but it was just a lot of work for not much in return so I returned it. My previous Conair steamer lasted 16 yrs and it was better built than this one and had a taller pole. I shall look at the one that is similar to my old one and probably get that.

Good steamer
Bought this for my daughter since she has an office job and wears the kind of clothes that need steaming. It works fine but I since bought myself a little travel steamer for a quarter of the price and it does just as good a job, is as easy to use and can pack in my suitcase for trips. I would have been better buying her one of those.

It is not working!
I purchased the steamer last summer and I have only used it a few times. I didn't realize it before but the pressure of the steamer is very low and it takes forever to steam garments.I had exactly the same product model before it broke and I was very happy with it. That's why I know that the pressure is supposed to be much more stronger. I think it is a faulty product. Now that it has been already longer than a month, I can't also return it :( Can the company please replace and give me another?

Much better than other brands.
I like this steamer much more than other brands I had. Steames better and faster. The clips for holding pants/skirts are not very convenient to use though. But that is manageable. Most important that it does its job to steam well. I recommend.

Doesn’t work
Very unhappy with this steamer. I returned it after a few attempts to steam my dress shirts. Took too long to remove any wrinkles. Will go back to the old brand.
