Kaya (Coconut Jam) - 17.6oz (Pack of 3)

Addictive
This coconut spread is the tropical cousin to apple butter, but much better. I can't find it at Asian markets anymore and was happy to find it at Amazon. In addition to using it as a spread for toast and croissants, it's a substitute for some of the sugar in baked desserts. It takes sweet potato and pumpkin pies to another level!

Over priced
Good taste but not quite the Singapore Kaya taste. Also over priced jacked up and for that reason not worth it.

This Kaya was good but not the best I've had
This Kaya was good but not the best I've had. There is a darker version which I had in Malaysia which is the nicest.

amazing taste
my mom would get this and make small sandwiches out of them. they are the best! I wish they were more available in America. this brand specifically!!! (same as the other review since this is the same product, just a different vendor) 😅

Sugar with little taste
Not much taste and all sugar plus a little (pectin?)

product was only 2 weeks from "best by" date
The best price by far was for 3 cans, which would take us normally about a year to use. But, "best by" date is only 2 weeks from when we received,, and contents, while still safe, had, unappealingly, begun to seperate. Use of the other 2 cans would be far later than best date by the time we would get to them. Would have purchased only one can at farther out "best by" date had we known, but this was not revealed, makes us think that was reason for the good price.

Great product, steep price.
Great product! Much better pricing elsewhere. Tastes much better than other coconut jams, and at this point i have tried a lot. I have found that adding a table spoon or two of water, and stirring it really well will make it into an even more spreadable jam, one that's not quite so much like a thick custard. I typically find these cans for no more than 3.69 each at any good Asian market.

Doesn't taste like coconut and consistency is odd
I had great expectations based on reviews and product description. To be fair this is my first time trying it. Taste is super sweet. Doesn't taste like coconut. Consistency is very liquidity reminds me of a runny egg yolk. Since it's listed as jam I expected it to be less liquid.
