I was surprised these work as well as they do. I fixed my Lexus key just fine, but you have to have the key blade from the old keyParts were a bit misaligned but workable.

These work very well and need no modification. Will buy again.

Horande Keyless Entry Remote Control Key Replacement Key Fob Cover Shell is a Tough Job but the cost is low. To complete the job, you have to insert the key "A" into the plastic part "B" to make "C" ( see diagram ).But the slot for "B" is much too small for the insertion. It took me one hour of careful grinding with a Dremel kit with a drill bit to enlarge the slot of "B" enough and not breaking it to fit the Key "A" in. You can do it with a drill too I guess. But of course, the final part looks great and works.

Fit and finish is excellent. Seems to be better engineered than original.

This product was very straight forward. Once you have the old metal key free of any plastic debris from the old key the install is easy. You just slide the key into the new plastic key frame. It’s tight getting the key in, but you want it to be tight. I just used a pair of pliers and gently pressed the key into the frame and it was in with ease. The only thing you really need to pay attention to is the direction you insert the key frame into the fob housing. If you put it in backwards the fob housing will not close fully but if it’s in correct it snaps about 95% of the way down. It’s a great product for less then $10 especially when you get two of these fob housings.

Easy to use

Bought this to replace a cracked OEM IS300 key fob case. I had to use a Dremel to remove material from the part the holds the key in order to fit the key in. Once that was done I was able to line up the holes and screw the halves together, however the fit is not perfect and there is a bulged seam. Does not effect the function of the key but time will tell how this case holds up, but it was cheap to replace and it came in a two pack so i have a spare.
