Nothing but good things to say about this. The flavor is great (not too peppery or lacking in pepper), the texture is just right (not too tough/dry nor is it greasy/chewy), and the price is good for the number of pieces you get. These are preformed, so the count of pieces is a good consistent measure of value vs loose jerky, where the weight is the primary form of measurement.

Saltier than I thought it would be but still is great for the value and decent tasting. Will have to eat with rice or something else that will help tone down the saltiness. Might recommend this if I can find someone who loves salty jerky.

Nice texture. Not soft like store brand stuff, and not super dry like so others. Taste is great, I got peppered, spicy but not overly. And really nice smoky flavor (whether it’s real smoke or not, tastes great). I highly recommended. Not buying name brand jerky from the stores ever if they keep the same quality. Btw, I’m fat, so yes, you can trust my review ;)

This product tastes great and satisfies that need for smoky meaty saltiness. But I’m more used to “beef jerky” consisting of strips of beef, not chopped up meat formed into circles. Perhaps if the product were marketed more accurately, such as being slices of dried smoked beef sausage, I could give it five stars.

I thought these for a roadtrip to the snow and always get stuff for if we break down. Beef jerky is a staple! This stuff is tender and has a nice spicy peppery flavor. It’s perfect. The rounds would totally fit in a pocket on the go. Comes sealed in a ziplock type large pouch to keep fresh in the jar.

I've been eating jerky for decades, trying brands like Mojave Jerky company, People's Choice, Derby City, Gentlemen's Best, Oberto, and many, many others. I've also tried jerky made from turkey, beef, venison, duck, pork, wild boar, buffalo, salmon, ostrich, kangaroo, and yak meat. While I both have adventurous taste and love jerky., this stuff is revolting, the first one I couldn't stomach at all. Seriously, it's the worst tasting beef jerky I've ever tasted. There's literally no pepper flavor, despite it being named "peppered," and I belatedly noticed that the second ingredient is sugar. I threw the entire package in the garbage after taking a single bite, which I had to spit out. I will never, ever purchase from this brand again and you should do the same! Save your money, protect your tastebuds, and stay away from this pathetic, garbage meat jerky.
