Good item for what I needed it for.
This item does pretty much what I wanted it to do. I bought it for three different reasons. First reason was to give the grandkids a limit to how far out into the lake they can go. Second reason was to keep boaters away from the swimming area. And third was to attach the yellow raft in the photo so it won’t float away while in use. This is the third one! The first one I did not tie well enough and it floated away. The second one leaked. The third one was an exchange and it seems to be holding up very well. The price for me was a little more than I would’ve liked to pay. I would suggest if you’re going to buy one to go ahead and pay a little extra and get something a little larger if you can afford it.

OH BOUY! This is great!
This year we set a bouy out in the lake tied to a block with a long rope so we had a place to tie off so that we would not drift off (while rafting / floating) from our cottage. We started out with an orange juice plasitc bottle with a yellow dollar general bag inside. Hey that worked! But, was so trashy lol. So I replaced it with this handsome bouy.

Not useable for a river anchor buoy.
Purchased to replace my river anchor bouy, I want a little smaller one. Like the other river anchor booties that I purchased I drilled through the top part of the tie off to insert a eyebolt. Unfortunately the rope tie off area is not solid on this model and drilling the hole actually caused the buoy to deflate.

Perfect. Does the trick at a lower price.

This one uses a needle valve similar to one on a basketball. It's easy to inflate but I have some doubt if it will sustain the air pressure for long. Normally this kind of buoy uses a screw valve, which is more reliable, but is a hustle to inflate. Note: because it uses a needle valve you cannot fill it with water (to make an aqua bag), if this is what you are after.
