Thermometers, Adoric Digital Thermometers Armpit and Oral Thermometer for Baby, Kids, Adults, Fertility - Accurate and Fast Reading (Blue)

I don't use thermometers much but bought this one as my old one had given up the ghost and with Coronavirus thought that it would be useful to have a reliable one in the house. It arrived in good time ans, as far as I can tell it apprars to be reasonably accurate. The one negative that I'd mention is that the writing in the instruction manual is absolutely minute (ie 1/2 mm is high and written in off white on white paper) so reading the instructions is near impossible - and if you or a relative is unwell you don't need the extra hassle of trying to find out how to use the thermometer

Knowing what i was doing helps a lot as to f % or C % makes it easier to know what your doing . This temp gage is good for baby's, and adults alike as it is very easy to put anywhere without breakages . and has a very good case to keep it in . Very safe as not glass .

Considering the elavated prices for thermometers at the moment, was disappointed to find that as soon as I turned it on it showed low battery which meant Ive had to go out and buy new batteries, so not impressed with that. It does have a clear panel to read temperature, not sure of the accuracy as yet until I put a new battery in. The instruction leaflet is in tiny typeface so needed a magnifier to read!

The unit does NOT beep when the it completes its measurement, the display simply lights up. No sounds at all, as described in the enclosed Owner's manual, are produced by the unit.The Owners Manual enclosed is printed so small as to require a magnifying glass to read it.I am not happy that the method of cleaning i.e.wipe with a clean cloth is hygienically acceptable.

Likes: small and light, but with a robust case; under-the-tongue is a cinch, and gives a quick reading (I have to squint a bit to see the screen, but it's not a problem).Dislikes: user manual is very hard to read, and should be incorporated into the on-line material. But I got there in the end!Overall, I think it's excellent. Provided the flexible probe proves robust enough, no problems. I can't comment on accuracy (no comparator), but I've no grounds for concern. It is certainly reliable - the reading is the same on successive tests. This should be good enough reassurance for most reasonable buyers...

This thermometer is very small so handy to keep in your drawer at home or your handbag. It take temperature orally and underarm very easily and i like that its waterproof so its easy to clean so u can use for the whole family without spreading germs around. It has very clear easy to read numbers which means u can see at a glance and the light behind helps with this. It is run by small battery which last for a long time especially as it turns itself automatically off after use. It is definitely a have to have product in any homes medical equipment cupboard.

I purchased this clinical thermometer plus two clinical infrared thermometers - the +/- difference is within 0.2 degrees, an acceptable difference in determining if you have a temperature. Don't get overcharged - some third party suppliers are now charging considerably more (GBP 30) for the same product.For the same money (GBP 30) you can buy a Mosen Medical Infrared Magnetic Thermometer for Fever, Ear and Forehead Thermometer for Baby Kids Adults Surface and Room, Easy Operation - which I rate as 5 *

I bought this to replace my ancient mercury-filled thermometer which is difficult to read and takes ages to work. I haven't yet worked out how to change the reading from F to C because you need perfect vision to be able to read the instructions! Being 'of a certain age', my eyesight necessitates wearing glasses anyway, but I need a top spec magnifying glass to read the accompanying instructions supplied with this thermometer! I believe it beeps at some point but I'll let you know when I've finally deciphered the leaflet! Don't say you weren't warned!
