WORKS AS DESCRIBED, EXCELLENT BATTERY LIFE AND EASY OPERATION. A++++
The media could not be loaded. I LIKE THE FACT THE LENS PROTOCTOR CASE DRYS OFF CLEAR WITH OUT WATER MARKS FROM THE FROST AND DEW AS THE SUN DRYS IT OFF AND THEN THE LENS IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. I OWN A HOME REPAIR COMPANY AND PLAN ON USING THIS FOR SECURITY AND JOB SITE PROGRESS. I AM USING IT NOW FOR A 10 MONTH BUILDING ADDTION ONTO OUR LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT. I ALSO PLAN ON USING IT FOR FILMING TRAINING EVENTS FOR OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT. IT HELPED SOLVE A PROBLEM THE FIRST WEEK WE USED IT. AS THE WORKERS PUT THERE COMPACTOR IN THE BUCKET OF THE EXCAVATOR AND WHEN THEY CAME BACK THE NEXT MORNING THE BUCKET WAS CURLED UP WITH COMPACTOR INSIDE OF THE BUCKET. THE WORKERS THOUGHT SOMEONE BROKE IN AND MOVED THE EXAVATOR, BUT WHEN WE REVEIWED THE TIMELAPSE VIDEO WE SEEN THAT IT WAS THE HYDRAULICS DRIFTING AND THAT NO ONE GOT IN THE EXCAVATOR.

Great for multi-month time lapse videos
Update January 2016 - We completed the new house and moved in. This time lapse camera captured the entire process! I am busy editing out the extraneous segments to produce a short beginning-to-end video for us. Now that the house has been built, I plan to use the camera to capture various landscaping projects, and also as a security camera (bought the motion-sensor accessory). Well worth the money.Original review:Great product, we are using it to record the construction of our new house. Very easy to use, we highly recommend this. Each week I download the daily videos and a compile them into a single video. I especially like the fact that you can set a start / stop time per day, and that you can adjust the time interval between images. I didn't want to waste a lot of shots on night shots when there is nothing to record. I now have the camera set to take one shot every 15 minutes, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.Once the house project is complete, I plan to re-use the camera as a security camera. Double duty!

Great results for the price
I purchased this for my remodeling company - to time lapse projects. We used it for the first time on a kitchen remodel. It's extremely easy to use and setup, good quality - not quite 'professional' but definitely use-able. A great starter to introduce yourself to time lapse and see if it's a good fit. The price point is appealing because it have us the opportunity to try it out ourselves without spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The battery life is AMAZING especially if you take their recommendation and get Energizer Ultimate Lithium - we left it setup on a jobsite for 3 full months and it still had power and space on the memory SD card. Easy to work with video files, it does all the work for you. You don't struggle with hundreds of images, it's already in video format. The main trick is getting your settings right - selecting the right time lapse photo intervals - we had a lot of blank space & it will require some editing, clipping etc. But it's been a great starter tool for us to bet even more familiar with it & show people and prospects a different side to remodeling - it will be really cool when we have an outdoor/exterior face-lift type job, showing ugly to gorgeous in 1-2 minutes! Excited to learn more!I also have to mention - we do some 'flip houses' - we recently had an issue of several break-in's - so we took the Brinno Time Lapse off of the current jobsite we were tracking over the weekend, put it up at the flip house that was being broken into - mounting it next door at the neighbors property - and we were able to catch our intruder! The cool part was, after the weekend, we were able to simply put the camera back up on the original jobsite it was on, and pick up right where we left off! Great product!

Old Technology, Poor Quality
I purchased this camera in April 2021 with the intent to capture timelapse images of a bridge being built in downtown Miami. Logisitics prevented me from installing it immediately so for a few months I repurposed it, and it sat inside my apartment, INDOOR, out of the way on a shelf, presumably capturing time lapse of activities in my apartment. The unit was not dropped or exposed to any water or other event that might have led to any mishap. However, When I checked the camera after a couple of months , i discovered that the section of the camera near the battery door had disintegrated, as shown in the attached images. All image capture had been lost (assuming it captured any images in the first place). I determined the camera is still operable when carefully secured inside of the plastic weather casing because the casing forces shut the battery door. I WAS able to capture two weeks worth of bridge construction. However with the defective battery door, this set-up is very precarious and I risk losing footage if the battery connection becomes loose. I also fear continued disintegration of the unit.Add that to the general uncertainty I felt every time I started video capture as to whether or not it was really capturing any footage.I did some additional research and was able to find an alternative that actually captures 1920x1080 images, so I'vew purchased and am using that one now -- this camera has between a total waste of time and money.

Time lapse camera that delivers the goods.
Used this time lapse camera for a solid 6 months for a project that was being done. It was secured into place and through rain and wind and hail, this camera endured. The set up was very simple and the video itself was quite good quality. Can't complain about it at all. If you have a good editing program, you can pull together all the separate videos that were taken, if that is what you did and make a great looking full video of the project. The protective case was a godsend to protect the camera in the weather that it was put into. So easy to use a child could program it. Used a 32 gig sd card and it was more than enough for the 6 month project. Great camera.
