Good, strong flavor with a good level of numbing sensation. Plenty to last for a long time, so the value is wonderful. Very heavy in the lemon grass flavor so a little goes a long way.

As far as I am concerned you can ignore all the unhelpful 1 star reviews.Also, note that I purchased from Natural Style USA, so maybe that has something to do with the reviews that say they are not well cleaned. I didn't find there to be enough stems to be concerned over myself. I found the images to be exactly what my bag looked like.They were very aromatic and the tingling sensation on the tongue was very noticable when I sampled one. I just made a batch of Chinese 5 spice (also bought 3 squirrel star anise) and am ecstatic with the results. I just don't see how any product can be any better.

Rare to get the spice fresh and red. It was a good buy and much more convenient than driving to an Asian grocery which may or may not have what I’m looking for.

Nice quality. Didn't have any of the peppercorns. Which is what you want with these. You only want the shell.

Yep, these are authentic Szechuan peppercorns with that very distinctive flavor. I use them for Mo-Po Tofu. Nice re-sealable package.

Great addition to kitchen to throw into dishes for an x factor.

Of you love hot and spicy this will temper some of the heat. I found nothing to dislike about this product.
