The pickups are a bit ice pick shrill, but have good output and good clarity. What separates them from other brands is the high quality neck and fingerboard and overall playability. Someday I will break down and buy a higher quality Jackson, but these imports are perfect for my heavy handed style and careless handling. I have three Jackson's and have never had a problem with jacks, pots, etc ## Features - Other models - Electric Guitars - Guitars - We emphasise a balanced combination of careful workmanship and selected materials. - OUR GOAL - Your satisfaction is our top priority and takes centre stage. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07PXG4T38 | | Back Material Type | Poplar Wood | | Back material type | Poplar Wood | | Body Material Type | Poplar | | Body material | Poplar | | Brand | Jackson | | Brand Name | Jackson | | Colour | Black | | Connector Type | 1/4" Monophonic Socket | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 101 Reviews | | Fretboard Material Type | Poplar Wood | | Guitar Bridge System | Hard Tail | | Guitar Pickup Configuration | H | | Hand Orientation | Right | | Included Components | Strings, Truss Bar Wrench, Holster (not explicitly stated) | | Instrument | Guitar | | Item Dimensions | 129.9 x 57.8 x 13.9 centimetres | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 129.9L x 57.8W x 13.9H centimetres | | Item Weight | 6.9 kg | | Manufacturer | Jackson | | Manufacturer Part Number | 00073-00106759 | | Material Type | Linden, Maple, Amaranth | | Model Name | JS32T Rhoads | | Model Number | 00073-00106759 | | Neck Material Type | Maple | | Neck material type | Maple | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Strings | 6 | | Scale Length | 25.5 | | Size | 51.15 inches | | String Material Type | Nickel coated steel | | Top Material Type | Poplar Wood | | Top material type | Poplar Wood | | UPC | 885978977000 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Back material type:** Poplar Wood - **Body material:** Poplar - **Brand:** Jackson - **Colour:** Black - **Fretboard material type:** Poplar Wood - **Guitar pick-up configuration:** H - **Hand orientation:** Right - **Neck material type:** Maple - **String material type:** Nickel coated steel - **Top material type:** Poplar Wood ## Images ![JS32T Rhoads Satin Black - Electric Guitar - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51JCrHbKr8L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why does my lightest string constantly buzz?** A: It's Possible That That E String Is Hitting The Fret When Played, This Usually Happens When: 1. The Neck Is Bowed. 2. String Action Too Low. The best way and easiest way for a novice to examine the neck is to use the strings. Hold the 6 string down at the first fret and at the last fret. Check to see if you have any space between the bottom of the string and the top of the 9th fret. If you have no space the guitar will buzz Should a guitar neck have a slight bow? Relief is usually not a good thing is a guitar neck. A slight amount of relief is fine and with some playing techniques it is advantageous; however, the general rule of thumb is that we want the neck/fretboard to be flat–no back-bow and no relief. ... Tightening the truss rod too much can cause back-bow. How high should the action be on an electric guitar? Action on a guitar is usually measured at the 12th fret. Typically preferred action on an electric guitar is around 1/16" (1.6mm) on the high E string and 3/32" (2.4mm) on the low E string when in standard tuning using standard gauge strings. What should my guitar action be? The average string action of the guitars I set up is 3/32 inches on the bass side and 1/16 inches on the treble side. It is important to note that to change your action height at the 12th fret a certain distance, you must multiply that number by two to find the height to raise it at the saddle. If You Are A Beginner This Is A Lot Of Stuff And Can Be Confusing! The Internet Has Much Info On Guitar String Buzzing! Hope This Helps. **Q: The guitar constantly buzzes. it buzzes when i dont even play, its not fret buzz. whats the issue?** A: Yes **Q: Is it Chinese or Japanese? Is it active or passive?** A: These are made in China and are passive. The MJ series rhoads (made in Japan) is $2799. These are excellent guitars and make really good platforms for upgrades. These guitars are perfectly fine as is and most people are happy with them for years completely stock. That being said, upgrading the pickups and adding a tusq nut brings this guitar to a whole nother level comparable with guitars triple the price **Q: No case?** A: Not for that price of course ..great guitar tho ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vraiment cool *by F***S on 19 April 2023* Sortie de la boîte et bien fonctionnel aucun accro ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value Great Guitar *by J***L on 27 June 2025* I love these less expensive Jackson guitars.
