Informative and good read
I used the book for a course at UCLA for my Masters in Public Health. The book is very informative of the health care system and how is it changing with ACA. Additionally, it is comprehendible so the reader is able to get a solid grasp of what's happening. Definitely would recommend it.

Not bad for a textbook!
Clear explanations of the latest information - much better than the usual dry textbook reading!

OUTDATED
I really wish universities would defer to a newer policy textbook. This was written in 2013, the newest version being 2014, and really so much has changed since then. As a future physician assistant, this is not helping understand TODAYS health care and I'm extremely disappointed in my health care policy course for using this textbook.
