It is not a miracle diet book or a everything is happy, happy book. It is a book that will have you reexamine your lifestyle and make changes for the better. The book is about changing your mindset, creating more pleasure in your life and detoxing your mind and environment. It is an easy read with an easy to follow format. I love the author's sassy style! At first glance, it seems like the steps are too simplistic but as you dig deep, you realize what an impact these negative forces can have on your health and happiness (and how easy it is to fall prey to them). There are plenty of resources and encouragement to keep you going. I love that this is not a 1-size-fits-all approach and that it doesn't gloss over the mind traps that can be so powerful. It acknowledges that life is not perfect at every turn. Keep working the steps and it gets better. There are no strict "rules" to follow. You literally can't mess this up! This book was worth every penny and then some!! I've read it twice now! It has improved my life 100% by getting me to look at things from a different perspective, look inwardly and make changes so I am living the best life I can. I highly encourage you to read it with an open mind and a willingness to improve.

I’ve followed Susan for several years & this book is as authentic & real as she is. It is going to disrupt the diet industry & change the way women look and feel in their bodies. Following the seven week plans & continuing to do so is the way for a woman to find self love & in turn lose the heaviness in your mind that holds you back from living your best life. BARE is truly her life’s work & passion. Do not hesitate to buy & fall in love with this amazing woman & her vision for us all! PS ... the April 23 one star review is a jealous troll. As someone who knows the author personally I can tell you she DOES NOT make up stories & her accounts are real subjects. I have seen these people step up in FB lives & other social media to verify their stories. She is authentic & helped so many women. This woman is intelligent & her book is written on a level to communicate with all women around the globe. She takes things we should all know & puts it into a stepped out program with new thinking & methods to best help change your life & rid yourself of diets forever!

Pleasure Not Rules
What I like the most about this method is that there are no rules. No eat this and don't eat that commands, no calories to count, and no insane workout regimes. Instead, Susan Hyatt encourages women to focus on the p-word: pleasure. On slowing down, de-stressing, and paying attention to what you do and how you do it. In a diet industry built on punishment that breeds self-loathing at best and self-hate in many women, this book is a breath of fresh air. It is a whole different approach that teaches women to focus on what makes them feel good, encourages them to fill-up on amazing experiences, and helps them be present in the moment to fully engage with life. I've been through the 7 week program once and repeated various weeks as needed. I will go through it several more times. Every cycle peels back another layer and helps ground me in my life in ways that are lovely and more fulfilling then any diet. I eat foods I love. I do movement that feels great. I wear clothes I adore and I do not worry about the numbers on the scales. We can't give others what we don't already have. If you're ready to learn to love yourself; this is a great place to start.

I love this book because of the message and method Susan Hyatt passionately shares in this book. I cannot stress enough how grateful you will be if you read this book and apply the 7-steps over and over again. BARE is not a quick fix, yet it is revolutionary. As I read this book in hardcover or kindle, I find myself cheering inside (and fist-pumping the air - even in public, at the gym on the stationary bike!) My wish is that BARE as a method, way of life and word becomes synonymous with the new norm for how we all embrace life without diets, without body dissatisfaction and without postponing our dreams, our power and our pleasure anymore. I truly believe BARE is not just a book, but a revolution. I personally practice BARE as a woman and Certified Coach in its method. Please get and read this book. You will be SO grateful you did.

Loved this book. Susan's writing is clear, to the point and easy to understand. I read the entire book in a couple of sittings and it is already improving the quality of my life. Hoorah for Susan. If all of the energy women put into dieting went into pursuing our dreams instead, this world would be a different place. Just read it!

Susan Hyatt's BARE book and philosophy makes perfect sense. It's well laid out and her writing reflects her sparkling personality. 7 steps! 7 weeks to a happier you, to loving yourself, loving the skin you are in. Fabulous!!

Susan Hyatt gets 5 stars for a fantastic guide book into living an authentic life... Yes, I've read my fair share of self-help books but it's the one's I constantly refer back to and the ones I never forget that have the greatest impact on my life, Bare is one of those books. I've read it and yes it has a lot of stuff I already read before but never truly implemented, I'm guessing it a combination of picking up the right book at the right time and Susan's writing style it really spoke to me. I'm enjoying the 7 weeks program and i really loved the book.
