I bout an 8/12 which on the label says XL. The top was too small until I removed the bottom pads. Then it was perfect! I love that it is so adjustable with the ties! I cannot ever wear anything lowrise.However, I was pleasantly surprised that the bikini fit me well both at the top and at the bottom, despite having ordered the smallest size. The top felt a little large at first, until I tightened it around my neck and around my ribcage, and did the "swoop and scoop" technique (scoop your breast with your hand to make sure it is sitting properly in your bra cup instead of your bra just sitting on top of your breast).The only downside is that one of the wires is uncomfortably poking my boob. But I hope that won't be such a huge deal - so far I haven't worn the bikini for a normal outing, I've only tries it on at home, so I dont know how bothersome the wire will be.
