Don't take it seriously then you will understand its just a movie not real lofe

This movie has been around for a while now and I have waited because I heard some negative reviews of the movie. So I got bored one night and finally bit the bullet and rented the movie. I like Josh Brolin as an actor and Megan Fox couldn't act her way out of a paper bag, but we all know why she is in the movie. In fact as I write this review they have the title of the movie and her name under it and not Josh Brolin's. That makes no sense at all, but I digress.Needless to say I had no expectations of this movie, or at least no high expectations. So when I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the storyline and feeling sorry for Hex's character I had to admit that there was something redeeming about this movie. Many people will disagree with my review and probably even mock me, but I enjoyed the unique character or superhero or anti-hero that is Jonah Hex. The storyline was interesting, and being set in a post civil war historical time period was done pretty well.Is this movie a blockbuster that will change the face of cinema as we know it.... no. Is this movie entertaining and fun to watch... yes. I give it 4 stars, with losing a star due to Megan Fox having no acting skills. If the criteria for her character was to be a hot looking woman then there are plenty of woman who could have played this role, can act, would have done the role for less money, and made the character more likable. That is why this movie lost a star. I don't hate Megan Fox on any personal level, I simply don't think she is an actress. That's my 2 1/2 cents on this movie.

Way better than anticipated.Great scenes and special effects

I must confess I never was into comic books as a kid & don't know much about the legend & lore that surrounds comic book hero's. I do however enjoy the whole comic book turned into movies genre that has developed. So I am not burdened by any preconceived expectations or put off by anything " Hollywood" may have messed up with this character...I am simply rating a action movie. I found it enjoyable Jonah Hex only has one " Super Power" & that is to talk to the dead which isn't even a power that aids him in combat. That makes him have to rely on his very human skills as a gunfighter & his wit. I like these type of " Super Hero's" because it doesn't take extremely powerful villains to be a threat to them or their cause. Unlike Superman who was written so powerful they had to create " Kryptonite" & a super genius villain along with either villains from Superman's home planet or villains with almost godlike powers to even make the conflict interesting. Then they gave Superman the ability to go back in time & fix any mistakes or failures...thus making Superman somewhat boring. I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for pointing all that out L.O.L. !!! But it sounds like there is a lot of hate for this movie already, which I feel is a bit unfair. After all it is just a action movie designed to entertain & in that IT SUCCEEDS!!!

A lot of good special effects. Some not so believable, but lots of action

It was good the plot was good, the actors were good, it seemed to me that there were a few seens that needed a explanation, but it was good, unfortunately I probably won't be around for the 20th year

I totally love this film it's loaded with action from start to finish also has drama, horror and a little romance mixed in. Years ago a man Quentin Turnbull ( John Malkovitch ) who's son Jonah Hex ( Josh Brolin ) killed in a gun fight,comes after him seeking revenge and takes it by tying Jonah to a cross just outside the front door of his house and makes him watch while he sets the house on fire burning his wife and son alive. Then with a branding iron burns half of Jonaha's face scarring him for life to both mark Jonah and as a reminder of himselfAfter being on the cross for days the Indian tribe Jonahs's wife came from cuts him down and using a ritual to bring him back, but Jonah comes back as something more than human with onw foot in the living world and one in the spiritual world becomes a tracker/hunter who can track anyone. Seeking his own revenge Johah sets out to find and kill the man who murdered his family and tracks him to a town only to be told Turnbull died in a saloon fire. A war mongering maniac arises being a wanted man with bountys on his head Jonah is offered a deal by the military that would erase all of his outlaw past if he accepts the deal, after agreeing he's hired to find and stop the lunatic and finds out it is an enemy from the pastCastJonah Hex.................Josh brolinQuentin Turnbull.......John MalkovichLilah...................Megan Fox

Watched it 10 times at least. .Civil War Western with a great twist.

The item came really fast, in perfect condition.Everything is as described. The story is great - classic western movie ,picture quality is perfect.100 % entertainment.The Blu-ray disc from United States is REGION FREE and uncut, which is good.The price is cheap so, don't hesitate - BUY IT NOW!

i got this as i am a big dc comics fan but was actually rather disappointed in the movie :/Michael Fassbender is great but that is all its good but not great and its short to just over a hour and twenty

Oh, this is not good. From start to end feels like a paycheck move.

Corny action adventure in the style of Wild Wild West. A bit short but some great action scenes. This was obviously made for he Bluray market and I expect to see at least one sequel. Well worth buying if you can pick up for around the £5-6 mark.

Fast delivery sorry to say poor film so I recommend the site but not the film
