where has this been all my life !
This is an incredible product. It really deserves a 10 star - no lie. I bought it for a house we are flipping where the windows are brown from 1960's and we had to paint every window in the house with several coats of both KILZ and also paint. I needed a fast way to apply this product and get to painting so this is what I did to save time. I poored it in a plastic pan liner. I used a $2 rectangle shaped applicator from home depot that has a foam handle and has a soft bottom that is soft. I applied this product to each pane fast with a UP, LEFT DOWN, RIGHT, UP LEFT DOWN RIGHT 2 or 3 times around each panel not really making it perfect if it went on the wood a little. I did make sure I added too much not too little. Applying first coat and waited 45 minutes with fans on and applied a second coat - a HEAVY coat just heavy enough that it wouldn't run. I only applied the second coat to the outside border not to the center of the glass area so much. The next day I sprayed the glass and frame over the day with several coats and the day after it was time to remove. I cut with a razor blade box cutter a clean simple perfectly scored 4 lines on the outside edge so that when I pealed it off it would be exactly where I wanted it to peal and it worked perfectly. It is important to score the corners perfectly where you want it to peal away. NOT only does it work perfectly but it cleans the windows also which was huge perk for me as these were gross. Now, I had a not so brilliant idea to use elmers glue to see if it would work as well and let me tell you NO it does not work at all. We ended it scraping it all off the hard way and it was terribly stuck on the glass so take our lesson and do not try that !I bought 2 quarts and it did the whole house, 2 heavy coats on all glass panels as explained above.Hope this helps others. This saved me SOOOOOO much time on this project and the finished perfectly cut lines made it look so nice when done. The extra that I did not worry about getting on the wood just painted perfectly and is not noticeable in the end.

Works great
Was doing some reglazing of my windows - and used this to mask off part of the window glass when painting over the glaze. The key is getting this on thick enough - so definitely 2 coats - takes about 30 min to dry. Comes off really easily - I would recommend scoring around the paint and glass to remove without pulling paint or glazing off. I did use this on an acrylic surface - and that is a definite no to use on that surface! Easy clean up - the can has done 5 windows and counting.

Coolest product ever!
The media could not be loaded. I was really scared to try it but this was awesome and made it really easy to paid our double does with 30 small panes of glass?I will say it’s not perfect but all in all it’s pretty great!

Masking liquid instead of tape - faster and easier to use!
The media could not be loaded. This masking liquid is amazing! I needed to repaint two French doors that had 18 panes of glass front and back, and taping all of that would have taken forever. This product worked exactly as it said it would and I love it!

Product spilled and unusable
The majority of the contents were spilled out of the box into a plastic bag that was around the can. The top of the can has rust on it.

FROM A CONTRACTOR...
FROM A PAINTING CONTRACTOR:I spent a WHOLE DAY testing this product in MULTIPLE scenarios on my project and learned a LOT. Here's my results...1. Using only one coat with one coat of paint over the top... did not work well. Came off in smaller strips.2. Using 1 coat with two coats of paint over the top... worked a little better but really not great.3. Using 2 coats with one coat of paint over the top... worked about the same as #2 above, maybe slightly better.3. Using two coats of this plus two coats of paint... worked pretty decent, but NOT awesome... most came off in 1-2 pieces but still had to scrape a little around the edges.4. Using THREE coats of this plus two coats of paint... worked quite well... most came off in 1 piece. Also tested it on...5. Old (early 1900's) glass - worked ok but definitely needed full 3 coats6. Newer glass (from 1980's) - worked better.7. Dirty glass - seemed to stick a little to hard water spots on glass but altogether worked pretty well.8. Clean glass - seemed to help it come off a "little" easier.SUMMARRY... This product ONLY works well when you use 2-3 coats of it PLUS two or more coats of paint OVER it. It DOES NOT work well if you use less than this.IMPORTANT NOTES:1. IT WILL STICK to old paint on glass making it not come off too easy on those areas.2. DO NOT let this stuff touch your wood or surfaces you want to paint on ANY EXTERIOR painting. It WILL NOT BOND and your paint job WILL PEEL OFF MUCH FASTER - ESPECIALLY on exteriors - like the next winter.3. I learned this product is worthwhile ONLY if you TAPE the perimeter of the glass, then paint the centers, or... if you don't care about the quality of your exterior paint job and are ok with it peeling off soon around the edges of the glass (then you don't need to tape the perimeter of the glass).4. FOR PROFESSIONALS: If you are pretty quick at masking, it is NOT much faster than masking (if you want to avoid getting it on the edges much). If you are doing low quality work and don't care that it WILL NOT bond to the wood or old paint at all, and will flake off later, then you don't need to pre-tape. If that's the case, then YES... this is faster than masking, especially for new construction interior glass that is clean.BUT I ALSO TRIED THE OTHER PRODUCT (Jasco Liquid Masking), in ALL the same scenarios above... and it was HORRIBLE... took MANY hours to scrape it off a few panes of glass. NONE of the scenarios worked well. It practically bonded to the glass.Good luck.

Laser engraver + sandblast
I'm using this product in conjunction with my cheap laser engraver and sand blaster. It works best on metal. I paint the liquid mask onto metal, then cut out a design from the mask with my laser engraver and then hit the part with my sandblaster and aluminum oxide blasting media. It does a nice job. I can get good looking results. The mask holds up long enough to get nice, even, frosted looking sand blasted designs. The mask doesn't hold up long enough to do deep relief blasting though. But that's asking alot. The mask then pulls off the surface easily. I know other people do the same thing with smooth, coated wood. I haven't experimented with wood or plastic much yet.
