Knape & VogtSide Mount Full Extension Drawer Slide, 22-Inch, Pair

I've installed several of these full extension door slides from K&V. They are easy to install, sturdy, and so far work well and smooth. There really is not much to installation . Watch a few Youtube videos and you'll be up and running very soon.

I installed one pair of the 14-inch slides. I used them on a 48-inch drawer. I know, the seller recommends a maximum drawer size of 24 inches. However, I'm happy with how the slides work. They're pretty smooth. There is a little of wiggle which I think can happen when the drawer is wider than it is deep. Easy to disengage the drawer side from the cabinet side. I have them pretty heavily loaded but I don't think I've exceeded their rating. The weight might help them operate more smoothly.The instructions are not worth reading. I've installed slides before so I didn't really need them but looking through them, I don't think they are very clear. If you're a novice, watch a youtube video or something.I read a few of the other reviews and there were some pretty negative ones. I didn't encounter any of the same issues. I did find one random small black piece of plastic in the bag that the slides were in. But looking at the slides, I couldn't see where it might have come from. Everything seemed fine. Not to discount their experiences, but my experience was different. Maybe the seller has a quality control problem - I don't know. Looking at the other slides available on Amazon, they all had some pretty empassioned negative comments. There wasn't a clear choice; there's always someone who hates a product. I tried to sift through the plusses and minuses and picked these slides.I'll buy them again.

Good problem-free, reliable slides. Have been upgrading our kitchen drawers with K&V full extension slides. These will be for “toe-kick” drawer conversions for flat baking sheets which amps up the difficulty of install in existing cabinets.

This style of slide works good and would be easy to install in a cabinet that is made perfectly square. Unfortunately mine was not. I had to shim the installation to make the slides work without binding. This process took a long time to complete.Also the first set of slides i received one was damaged and would not operate. I contacted Amazon and they sent out another set and i had to send the damaged one back which is Ok if your not in a hurry to get your project completed. The next project i purchased my slides locally.

We installed these slides on our kitchen drawers some 20 years ago. We use them daily and they have performed without any issues. I recently purchased another pair of these because we replaced a drawer. They are well made, come with excellent detailed instructions and are very easy to install. When taking them apart, simply press on the black locks/levers and pull out. When reinstalling them, just line them up and push in. They'll put out a little resistance at first, but once all the way in they'll slide in and out effortlessly. The rubber piece at the end of the stationary piece, which looks like three circles on top of each other, is the "catch" and it keeps the drawers closed once engaged.

I’ve been using these slides for years. They are strong and easy to install (paying close attention to tolerances and squareness!) and they operate smoothly. My shop now has 11 drawers with 22” slides and 16 drawers with 16” slides. I also have a single drawer with 24” slides in my workbench that is 24” deep x 51” wide. The drawer is wider than recommended and I’m fairly sure it’s heavier than the recommended 100 pounds. If not careful, I suppose the drawer could be racked but I’m always careful so I have never had a problem. My point is that you can safely exceed the recommended width and weight if you’re careful and know what you’re doing.My next project with these is a 30” deep x 51” wide drawer in my workbench that I will install with 28” slides (because evidently, they don’t make 30” slides)!

i bought this for an Ikea Pax 13" deep hack. The shallower Pax units do not come with the shelf pull out option. that is only available with the 22" deep Pax unit. So i found these full extension brackets that were 12" deep. After shaving down my Ikea shelf a bit, i was able to attach this bracket to the Pax unit and now i have a full extension pull out shelf!!! It worked so well i bought another pair to add another pull out shelf on my Pax unit. It was tough finding a 12" deep full extension bracket, so i was happy to find this. Only wish it was soft closing, but still works great.

I had to replace two slides that were installed by the manufacturer in my motorhome that were junk. These were very easy to install built so much better than the original ones. The operation of them is really smooth. My wife loves them.

bought at $18, along with some amazon basics slide.the knape and voght was amazing . the amazon basics are a regret.will buy again.

great value for the $$s. They are NOT self-closing. but easily retract fully. I just wish there was the option to buy 6 instead of just 5. one drawer short!

I used these on large drawers in a platform bed I made. The drawers are large and hold a lot of clothes. The slides work well and take the weight smoothly

They were as I expected.
