This stainless steel bowl is the PERFECT size and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a large bowl for soaking and cleaning produce, mixing and prepping large batches of food, etc. This bowl is 16 inches in diameter from lip to lip and it's about 5 inches deep. It's always difficult to buy things like this online because getting a sense of the size can be really difficult. However, I'm really happy with this purchase because this is literally what I needed. It's not terribly thick, but it feels durable and meets my expectations as far as stainless steel bowls go. What I love even more is that this bowl sits perfectly in my Kraus single-basin sink! If it were any larger in diameter, it would not sit comfortably. Plus, the price is reasonable for a nice-looking bowl. 👍

I needed a large mixing bowl for food prep and ordered this one. After giving it a thorough first wash, I used it to mix the spinach stuffing for spanokopita (Greek spinach pie). Worked well and easy to clean afterward. The bowl's width has a lower profile/height for the capacity, helpful for a very short person. It will double as a large serving bowl or big salad bowl when needed for family gatherings.

Really nice bowl, but BIG. I was looking for a supersize popcorn bowl, but this would serve popcorn for a family of four. Also would make a good serving bowl for a large casual party, fruit bowl, maybe even an ice bowl for drinks.. It's versatile for any big use, unbreakable, and attractive..

It's a big mama! Perfect for coating large batches of popcorn- or salads for a churchful. 16 quarts is a lot, y'all. Kind of lightweight- which works in its favor- something this large would be tricky to handle if it were any thicker/heavier. Storage might be an issue for some- but it's clearly the size it's advertised- so you should know what you're getting into. A solid good-sized bowl that works as intended. Not much more can be asked of it.

I ordered this bowl as a secondary bowl for making sourdough bread. I wanted one that was large enough to mix up the dough and then leave it in to rise. This product does work for that purpose, and overall I am glad that I bought it. I gave it 3 stars for two reason. First, the bowl is a bit more shallow that I had originally expected. It does have the capacity that I wanted, but it is in a wider and more shallow shape than the other bowl that I have that is used for the same purpose. It would have been more useful if the sides had been higher and the bowl was deeper because it would have taken up less room on my counter, and it would have been easier to store. Also, the stainless steel is a lower quality steel and a little more flimsy in the feel. Both of these things are something that I can accept because the price point was very good and made it possible for me to purchase the bowl on a tighter budget. I took the pictures after several months of use, so it is a little scratched and stained, but it did not come to me in this condition. The pictures are, however, a good representation of the durability and what to expect from this product after several months of usage. It has definitely held up, though, and is perfectly usable and works well for its intended purpose. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone wanting a useful bowl that they can purchase on a budget. If you are wanting something that has a sturdier feel, is deeper and more compact with the same capacity, and you are willing to spend more to obtain this product, you might want to keep looking for a different stainless steel bowl.

I mean, it's a stainless steel mixing bowl that holds its shape, hasn't dinged from a handheld chopping blade, and doesn't leak or anything. It works and works well. No surprises or flaws. Does what it's supposed to do and does it well.

I was looking for a mixing bowl the is larger and has high walls on the sides. Instead, the bowl came and has very low walls. If u use a mixer in it it will shoot stuff out all over. That is exactly what I don't want. I return without using.
