Great tent for the money! Thanks Marmot!
Yes! This tent exceeded expectations! It is small and light without cutting corners but still being quality and functioning well.My husband and I use this tent for backpacking trips for just the two of us (we have an Alps mountaineering for when we bring the kids) and it is a great little tent. It is roomy enough for us to sleep comfortably on our own mats and has all the basic bells and whistles such as side pockets and lantern loops. I love that the actual tent is mostly screen (sometimes we sleep in this in our back yard on hot nights and what a view!) and the rain fly has the “vestibule” space on both sides for storing shoes or packs and also reaches to within an inch or so of the ground to keep out the rain and cold nights. The floor seems to be normal tent fabric and is not reinforced so you will want to get a “footprint”. We use a heat-reflecting ground tarp that is slightly thicker than a footprint but slightly smaller than the tent floor and it works fine.Zippers are dependable and quality. Stakes are very light and they supply plenty of guy lines but we usually don’t take them all-maybe 4-6 stakes and 2 guy lines. The tent is really easy to put up-everything is color coded. I worry about the form-bent poles but we are just very careful with them and they seem sturdy enough.I love the green color so we can blend into the forest a bit.We have used this tent on 2 trips (and several backyard “excursions”) and are very satisfied with it. Will update...

Great lightweight tent
We picked the Marmot Crane Creek 3P UL model during Prime week. Great tent but arrived damaged (tiny holes/cuts in rain fly). Waiting for replacement from Amazon. We’ll be using this tent for me and my wife and a medium dog, upgrading from old first-gen REI Half-Dome 3 (old version with tiny window and condensation issues) and a Trango 3 (heavy arctic all weather). Love the light weight, currently weighs 5lbs/1oz in it’s originally packed state (everything in without trying to minimize weight) and 5lb12oz with footprint (not included). Overall it’s very roomy and airy and light, tremendous upgrade from our old tent. Tent is mostly mesh, see through but not invisible, mesh is thin/light/stretchy, seems durable. Love the diffuser pocket on the top. Four decent sized pockets in the tent, one in each corner. Comes with six light stakes, four guy lines with four tensioner, a small repair pole tube (hope we never have to use). Roomier than what I was expecting. Looks like it will fit us all with some gear, backpacks stored in the vestibule area. Love the two door design, it’s symmetric, we each get our own vestibule storage space and our own door/exit.Bottom of tent is well sealed. We haven’t tested it in the rain yet, but other reviewers say this tent handles rain and moisture very well, so that’s good (if it doesn’t I’ll update this review).Incredibly fast and easy to set up and is mostly freestanding, except for rain fly/vestibule and guy lines. Set it up in my small living room in a few minutes. Intuitive, didn’t have to read directions. I like the swivel connector between the two main poles. Seems sturdy enough, but I hope this connector doesn’t end up breaking. The bad...Arrived with damaged rain fly (sections with small cuts/holes/lacerations, looks like a machine chomped it up). I’m assuming this is a fluke since I didn’t see this problem with any other reviews, and it was easy to replace through Amazon. It doesn’t have everything you need. You need to buy a footprint and more stakes, and you might want to buy an repair kit. Floor material is thin, so you’ll probably need to buy the footprint ($50) to protect it. You’ll need to buy at least four more stakes for the guy lines (I got a pack of MSR groundhog mini, $20, but you can get cheaper).Lastly, the floor and walls seem durable but very thin, which is great for weight, but I’m a little worried about our dog. We’ll have to be careful that she doesn’t rip through the walls or floor with her paws.

Good budget 2P backpacking tent but wrong weight published
Unlike the other Crane Creek models, I believe this tent, the 2P UL, is a good budget back packing tent but I returned it because as of May 2019 Amazon have the wrong information and I was looking for a lighter tent for solo carry. From the tag of the tent I received...Product Label Info...Description:Two D Shaped Doors/Two Vestibules. Free Standing TentWeight:Min 3lb 15.4oz 1810gMax 4lb 6.5oz 2000gMeasurements:52in wide * 88in long rectangular floor 30sqft43in h at peak27.5inch 10sqft "front" vestibule17 inch 5.2sqft "rear" vestibuleMaterials:Fly68D 100% polyester taffeta 1500mm F/RCanopy68D 100% polyester taffeta F/R40D 100% polyester no-see-um mesh F/RFloor68D polyester taffeta 190T 2000mm F/RPolesVelocity HD 8mmPacked size: 18 x 6This is pretty much agrees with what I measured from setting up the example I purchased. That said it is still a pretty low weight for a 2 person 2 wall tent and very good for the price. To judge its performance look for reviews of the Marmot Tungsten 2P UL which is lighter, more expensive but very similar in design. The main differences are that this tent, the Crane Creek 2P UL is all polyester, is rectangular and the two doors work in opposite directions where the Tungsten 2P UL has a nylon floor, is tapered and both doors work in the same direction. The Tungsten UL2 also has shaped poles providing more vertical canopy end walls . Rectangular means that 2 25 inch rectangular sleeping pads will fit where you will need to uses 2 20 inch or tapered pads in the Tungsten 2P UL. Also this tent has the fly end tie outs that are missing from the Tungsten 2P UL and a criticism of that tent...probably even more necessary for this tent because the end walls have more slope.
