For the price, this is worth it. I have the original JPG and when comparing both, the biggest difference is the first spray. On the original, the mint is noticeably stronger. As they both dry down, the smell is pretty much similar. Most fakes out there, the initial spray always smells similar, but when it dries down, it's so obvious that you can easily tell the difference. For this one, you would have to put your nose right on the skin to notice the difference and people around you wouldn't be able to tell which is which. What's nice about this one compared to the original is that this one settles down nicely. On the original, if you accidentally over-spray, the distinctive smell could linger longer than you want. As for the bottle, this one has a shorter button and does NOT have the "GAUTIER" written on the back like the bottle like the original. Also the stripes is white on the original while this one is more bluish. The body shape bottle is slightly different, but the pedestal that it comes with fit either way. The safety clip on the original is higher quality and will not fit on this version because of the gap differences. Original has a larger gap between the button and the base while this version has a shorter gap. So when you push down on the original, it's a "pfffffffft" while this one is "pfft" Also, for me, when I pulled off the safety clip, the handle came loose. I had to use a tool to push out the actual clip. Despite the cosmetic differences, the money you save on this version is worth it in my opinion. If you love and own the original, buy this one so you use half the amount. Both are similar in scent that you can actually mix them together in your travel spray. Of course, you wouldn't have to since the smell is the same for me, but figure for those who are very picky about the smell duration might find this method useful. I think that this cologne has all the notes as the original, but probably lesser oil concentration (to save cost). Again, due to the cost, I highly recommend this cologne.

Love the smell

When I saw this cologne priced so low, I thought it had to be a scam. I mean, this stuff is $90 in stores! But curiosity got the best of me, so I ordered one as a tester, fully prepared to laugh at my own foolishness. But then… it arrived. I have to tell you, this stuff is the real deal. Sure, the packaging doesn’t scream “fancy department store,” but the scent? Oh, it’s exactly the same. Spray it on, and you might as well start drafting your “Sorry, I’m taken” speech because the ladies will be flocking. After confirming my suspicions (and possibly creating a small traffic jam from all the attention), I immediately ordered two more bottles. Why not? At this price, it’s practically a public service. Trust me, fellas, this cologne will have the ladies breaking their necks and you smelling like a million bucks while spending peanuts.

Content was safely wrapped and boxed with no damages. This product is great for teenage boys or young men on a budget. The scent is a great replica of the original Jean Paul Gaultier. If my eyes were closed and the bottle didn't read Blue for Men, I could have easily been fooled. Of course, the scent does not last long. It gives a great impact once sprayed but shortly leaves. The bottle serves a great quantity in size. I will absolutely purchase again.

It does smell pretty close to the original, although with a slightly more chemical tinge. It is a bit watered down and doesn’t last very long.

So I opened this up and I have been getting a few different colognes to try to have a little variety. I put on 4 different colognes Cuba Gold, Blue, Christian Audigier, and Mambo. My wife and my 13 y/o say that the Christian Audigier smells the best and that the Cuba Gold smells better than the Blue, they said the Mambo was ok but not something I should wear everyday. Now, when I sprayed the Blue on myself it smelled a little off. I don't know if I had a bad batch, or I needed to shake it or what not but I was only mildly impressed. The smell didn't last a full 8 hour workday. I own everything from Aqua di Gio to some cheap BOD spray so I think I can point out quality. I would give this a 6 out of 10 stars. The bottle is neat and unique, but I think they could due a little fine tuning to make this cologne really work.
