Okay, I've read the bad reviews, after I bought it, so I was a little nervous. Let me tell you why this is possibly the best thing I've ever bought. First of all, my husband and I are mid to upper 40s and almost empty nesters. Date night, what's that? Conversations center around his work, which I don't understand, or the kids, which there's less and less to talk about as only 1 is left in the nest and she ready to fly. So, for the bad reviews, yes it's pricey, but to have those ideas in the box is like a challenge, you just pull. Searching the internet for ideas kind of take the romanticism and spontaneity out of it, plus I'm known to fall down the google rabbit hole! It makes us feel younger and fun again. For those unhappy with the ideas, paying off student loans, that's in the life section! As someone mid-life, that is a very appropriate card. We're still paying. Maybe if we pulled that card early on it would've challenged us to do it. Not fun, but that's life! And for those that have done many of the things together, we have too, but many were done when we were young and crazy or with our kids. Maybe now we can be old and crazy, but we are starting with the exercise one so then eventually we can get to the climb a mountain one. We've been feeling our age and feeling worried that when the kids are gone, then what? I've been a stay at home mom, he's worked full time+, we started to feel like we had little in common. Not enough to divorce, just enough to feel bored and tired. We read through these and laughed and it lit a fire. The love ones aren't mostly sex like I feared, they're actually things to do if you really love someone, which by our age you realize life isn't spent between the sheets. We can see this bringing laughter and love and life to our marriage for years to come! Bless you whomever made these. I'm excited for an empty nest now!

This set of cards is a nice source of inspiration for our date activities. There are quite a few that we have done already but there are some very good ideas in the game. The cards are very well made and the box comes with index separator which is cool, also the box feels durable and it looks pretty. It would make a nice gift

Got these for my husband as a gift. They were fun to look through the first time around but we honestly haven’t looked at them in months and I’m not sure if we will really use them. In retrospect not worth the money for us. But they’re nicely made if that’s your thing.
