CowboyStudioCamcorder DSLR Shoulder Mount Rig Support 2 Hand & Follow Focus & Matte Box for DSLR Canon Nikon Sony, RL-00IISet

I purchased this rig for my Nikon D5100, to gain a bit of stability without having the exhaustion of using a glidecam. The matte box on the front is completely plastic but strong. All rails seem to be quite durable so far and the follow focus works well with most of my lenses (will not fit with a wide angle lens however) The new handles are very grippy which is nice when you need to use the follow focus in a shot. The shoulder pad works but takes a bit of adjustment to make it comfortable and functional on each person. Although I do like the C shape and its ability to provide a handle for low angle shots, the top handle will hit you just above the forehead if you have it too low on your chest. The quick release plate is very durable, but the screw provided has too long of an unthreaded section and will leave a gap between the camera body and the plate. If you add a nylon crush washer or even just wrap the screw with one pass of electrical tape, it will correct this issue and give you a much firmer mounting to the plate.Not a bad product, but not really worth the price either.

I like it my only issue is the manual focus adjustment isn't the best kinda cheap and doesn't adjust. I removed it and I an idea to mod it.
