the parts of any plant usually consumed in the diet that is usually not digestible. this would include, but not be limited to: any fiberous plant stalks such as any greens or cabbage stalks. Using trees as a form of vegetable fiber would be considered dangerous if not deadly. Due to the fact splinters could pierce the stomach or intestinal wall. hope this was helpful.

That is a really good question...I had not heard this till you mentioned it. I did a quick Google and found that it HAS the warning, but haven't found why. I'll try to look around a little more when I'm not supposed to be sleeping!
