Veho VCC-A017-UPM MUVI HD Universal pole/bar mount for Bikes, Roll Cages, Boat Rigging with tripod mount

This is a great mounting product. Alot of the places i want to mount it on my bike are too large, but where it does fit it holds very well and is steady too.

I used this kit for an in car camera mount for my race car. It screwed right into the base of my Fuji Film Fine Pix camera. I didn't use all of the parts in the kit, but was able to use most of them to tie the camera down to the center cross bar in my race car.It says it's good for roll cages, but make sure your roll cage bar diameter is small enough.I would say this mount is perfect for bike handle bars.

I bought this for mounting my veho muvi camera on my Vespa.I mounted this to the mirror arm of my bike.I must say the fit was perfect.I have been using it for the past couple of months and haven't had a problem. Nice!!!

Thanks for constructing a heavy-duty G/Pro or Muvi camera mount. Mounts easily and firmly to bicycle/motorcycle handlebars. Nice oversize tightening nuts! Great for gloved hands.

This is heavy built and overall nice piece. I use it with my muvi gumball 3000. Thats all i have to say.

I tried to use this mount on my mountain bike on the trail and the video was too shaky to view. I also tried to use it to ride on the road and the video had a wave effect almost not worth viewing. the camera is too unstable with this plastic mount. The Minoura Handlebar Camera Mount works much better.

Also, converting this to go on Amazon makes it less high res.The video shows the product used with the relevant Veho Muvi camera. Compared to when it is helmet mounted it seems there may actually be less shake, although this is a smooth bit of road at low speed.Pleased overall with this product. I agree with one of the other reviewers that it is possibly not as wide as it might appear. This did place some limitations on where I could put it because the frame and forks of my pushbike are on the thick side.Other than that though it is serving its purpose well. Mounted on the handlebars, some shake does inevitably transfer from the road to the camera, but I'm finding it to be less than expected. Have got front suspension so that might help. With just the camera on it I can tighten it enough to prevent movement during riding. I cycle from Stockport to Manchester and with the state of the roads these days that's pretty much off-roading. With the waterproof camera case as well it is a bit of a struggle to keep it upright. It would probably be better hanging down but this fouls the brake lines.Over time there might be some wear to the bottom of the camera (a tiny bit already) because you do have to really tighten it up to prevent it falling out - but time will tell and I'm going on experience so far.

Received this product from MyMarket very quickly, almost return of post, so the seller scores highly.The mount is a U-clamp suitable for a rod or tube up to about 30mm diameter. There is a plastic insert on the clamp so bare chrome or stainless steel products would be protected although I am not sure it would be adequate to protect painted surfaces without some form of additional tape or foam wrap. The plastic, possibly nylon, material of the main crossbar of the clamp does not look too robust and is unlikely to take high clamping pressures without disintegrating. I haven't used it "in anger" yet so will write again if it breaks. At the end of the crossbar clamp is a screw clamp to attach the Veho Muvi camera. The metal screw is clearly very solid and should hold the camera as long as the crossbar material is sound. My initial view is that it should be alright in use as long as you are not too heavy handed when tightening the various screws on the clamp

Not worth it for what it is. Made out of light plastic and the actual maximum diameter is not that wide as I had initially thought.I screwed the clamp onto my bike tightly and then mounted a MUVI HD camera on it. It felt like the mount was not strong enough to fix a MUVI HD device on to a bike, with vibrations and constant forces acting on the camera when cycling, this did not give me confidence that it was going to hold my camera in place. Later the camera twisted out of position and it confirmed my worries. Even after twisting all the knobs to their maximum torque, the forces when used on a bicycle is too strong for this mount.It looks good, and sported the ability to vary the diameter of things it can clamp onto - but in reality it s not worth the cost of the product, feels too cheap and not strong enough for a bicycle in my opinion. Maybe okay for mounting on a fixed position that will not move much. If ya have a action camera - best to mount onto a helmet, unless you want the deliberate shaky footage

Works well if you have a small diameter pipe which is not in the main description if the pipe diameter is less than a inch and a quarter then it will fit well so on most push bikes with a normal size handle bar set up.
