Great Deal for the Price!
Wanted a 60" recurve with a 15" riser and that's what I got! The seller was great in putting it together despite the fact that the original order was for a 58" bow with a 15" riser. The bow is pretty smooth in drawing even at 50# (sadly they didn't have 40# long limbs). I've pulled the bow from 28" to 30" and there doesn't seem to be much stacking. Can't say for longer draw lengths as I can't pull it back that far. From how it casts the arrows, this bow seems pretty quick. While the limbs I received were carbon foam (only 50# and 55# limbs have this option), I couldn't really tell the difference. If some can, please point it out. The riser seems to be made of wood and phenolic, but I think it's actually more phenolic more than anything. It is cut slightly past centre, so if you use the provided strike plate, the shelf will no longer be to centre. Speaking of which, the provided rest and strike plate are rubbish. Best that you bin it and get yourself a Bear rug rest and low-profile strike plate.Having come from the Mandarin Duck Black Hunter, the grip on this riser is rather chunky and not has contoured as the other bow. If you've shot the Samick Sage and love that grip, then this grip will be perfect. It's a pistol grip with a rather sharp front, but not uncomfortable. I really love the 15" riser, although its weight is a bit chunky. Tiller bolts and horizontal adjustment screws are pretty OK. The tiller bolts seem to be much better quality than the horizontal adjustment as attaching the limbs a few times has already marked the aluminium retainer. If you can find matching brass parts, I suggest replacing it with that. The detent screw on the limbs happens to be silver, which makes it the only noticeable thing when looking at the bow from the back (trying nail polish to see if this can fixed). Limb tips seem OK, but not the cleanest as some often epoxy resin/binder can still be seen. The limb tips are rather thin, which makes them quite elegant. I will say that although the factory string is one of the best ones I've seen in a while, I'd rather order a Grizzly String (flemish twist) as the look and feel of those are much better. The riser sleeve is also pretty good too, however I'd thought it'd come in more of a kit as described by NuSensei, however that was a bit disappointing.

SOME SLIGHT MANUFACTURING BLEMISHES ON THE RISER
I really like this bow, it is elegant and well made. The ILF system makes it a breeze to pack and just as easy to assemble. Comes with a one year warranty and so long as you string with the proper stringer you should have no problems. Fast and powerful mine came in at 55# and feels like 45#. Accurate if you do your part and my new proud and joy. Can outperform any custom bow in the right hands. The deluxe carry case sold here for 50 dollars would have made a nice included for the amount of money I paid for this bow but I guess that you can't always have your cake and eat it too. At least I was gifted with a thermal pad to place over a beer or soda can.

They really make art. Great bow.
I love this bow. Very elegant. More than a bow a piece of art. The package arrived sooner as I expected. Great service. It surprised me.

Solid product
I purchased this bow four months ago. I bought the 25lb. limbs as I am new to the sport and wanted something that was of high quality. I am very happy with this bow. It does require tightening of the screws every so often, but that is easy. For a traditional bow, it delivers, and the ILF system allows for growth. Just to be clear. I am a big guy, so I bought the 17 inch riser with long limbs.
