When I can make it work, it's awesome. Unfortunately I have to strike few time for the flame to ignite. I don't think is the butane because I use the same on my cheap V. Cyclone and JT New York two lighters without problem. I bleeded too to take that out the equation. I was going fancy, showing off this time; but shame, is embarrassing having a 60 dollar lighter that you need to strike up to 4 time to get a flame.

This is a very nice lighter, .................but then it should be for $70+. No complaints at all, but there may be a less expensive alternative that is of the same quality level and is just as nice.

Very nice, very high quality, works very well and has an excellent lifetime warranty. And Xikar has excellent customer service. You can't lose on this deal. Actually bought one for myself and another for a friend.

It looks great and feels nice in you hand. it does rattle but that is just the safety (keeps it from lighting when it is upside down)overall best lighter i have ever used to light my sticks
