Quality compact tool set
Not only does it look nice, the quality if this set unmatched. This is not made in China. The pouch is so compact and ergonomically useful. It is not cheap but it will bring a smile in your face.

High quality little ratchet set.
Nice little ratchet set, very low backlash on the ratchet mechanism and the addition of the freely rotating portions on the extensions seems like a good idea. Definitely makes me want to get more Wera sets. For anyone wondering, the ratchet itself is about 5.5in (140mm) long, extensions are 6in (150mm) and and 2in (50mm).

Exquisite little metric set suitable for anyone that needs a compact and portable set
I love the quality and craftsmanship of Wera Tools to begin with, but this small set is very compact with a nice satin finish and quite awesome overall. I wanted something small, attractive, well made and compact that I could easily carry in my glove compartment to keep handy or slip into my purse if necessary.Gentlemen, although I purchased my own and many people still think buying and using tools is a guy thing, I think this is a nice compact set to get for your wife, friend, daughter or whoever if they don't have a small set handy for things. If they are not familiar with how to use, then teach them. I like to do things for myself so I find this set very handy to have. This set is relatively lightweight (less than 1 1/2 pounds) and the entire set folds very easily and nicely into a small attractive case. The tools themselves, like all of my other Wera tools, are very well made and a positive reflection of German engineering. I find that many of the products, screws and fasteners that I purchase these days are non-standard and this set provides a nice variety to meet most of my needs. The set includes: 1 x 5.0x23.0 1 x 5.5x23.0 and up through 1 x 13.0x23.0 sockets, 1 x PZ 1x25 and 1 x PZ 2x25 PZ, 1 x PH 1x25 2x25 1 and 3x25 phillips, 1 x TX 10x25 15x25 20x25 25x25 27x25 and 30x25 TORX, 1 x 3.0x25 4.0x25 5.0x25 and 6.0x25 HEXPlus. 1/4 inch Zyklop Metal handle with switch lever which is great for confined working spaces. 1/4 x 150 MM (~ 6 inch) extension, 1/4 x 56 MM (~2.2 inch) universal extension and a lock adaptor for the drive heads. One thing you will notice in this set is that it doesn't come with any standard SAE sockets, but you probably already have plenty of those - am I right! If not, Wera has those also available either as a set or individually.

Neil B. Very impressed.
Just received this socket set today. The quality, craftsmanship and ingenuity of this product is pretty remarkable. Would I use this on a job site, maybe. For every day use, absolutely. I have a craftsman socket set that I’ll probably get rid of. That’s how impressed I am with this product. Really appreciate that they made everything with a matte finish. Makes it so easy to read the sockets, unlike the high chrome finish on the craftsman set. Three days prior I received the Wera screwdriver kit and was so impressed with it that I immediately ordered the socket set. Just the compactness of this stuff is worth it. Definitely can’t deny German craftsmanship. This kit is top notch. Has good weight to it, everything clicks into place with a sense of exactness. For me, this product checks all the boxes. Like everything else though, it’s all subjective. But I don’t think anyone would be disappointed in this product.

You don't know what you're missing until you try it
I'm an avid DIY guy, and also like shopping around for deals. I have a fairly large assortment of tools of differing ranges, and all seem to be roughly equivalent in quality. The main variation in sockets I see is how they label the size: painted (which wears off with solvents), laser etched, or stamped. None of those have ever been an issue for me, so from there I typically aim for 6-point so it can grip the fastener with a little more confidence.I fist used a Wera screwdriver when an engineer came from Germany to help with an inverter at work. The etched tip gripped screws with so much more confidence, so I immediately bought myself a set. Screws that look clearly stripped are able to be reused with these drivers. Those were clearly worth it, but who would pay $50+ for hex keys? Then came the hex keys, because who doesn't have money laying around to burn? Anyway, I have been impressed every time I use them. I had always thought the provided hex key with cheap furniture, toys, and shower curtain rods were fine and the chinesium set-screw was the problem. After using Wera keys on what I previously thought was a stripped set screw on my RC boat made me a believer in those as well, and the ball tip on the other end make working in tight areas so much easier. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to grind the end down after it stripped to have a fresh hex head, but turns out with better tools there is no need to replenish the tip.Ok, so now onto reviewing this product and not my other slew of Wera tools. The case is a brilliant solution for organization and so easy to pack up and take on the road. The ratchet has a smooth and clean action with tons of teeth, so it can work in much less rotation room. Where I'd normally need to hold the socket from spinning backward rather than clicking, this one seems to know the direction I want to go with light loads (like when trying to thread on a fastener where a hand cannot reach). The knurled end on the sockets can also help in tight areas, or to assist with starting threads. I feel like there is more competition out there for premium ratchets, so this is less of a game changer than their screwdrivers or hex keys, but still a noticeable improvement and worth the relatively high sticker price. I'd say the case adds the most value here, as such a dainty set is rarely enough for working on cars. What I've learned is if you use tools a lot and value your time, it is worth investing in better tools, not stripped bolt extractors. If you find a deal for Wera and are considering it, just do it. They don't happen often and it may be a year before it hits that price again, if ever. Tools are a pass/fail item, and these never fail to grip where less expensive options consistently fail. Look at is as investing in never dealing with a stripped bolt again in these sizes rather than another duplicate ratchet set.
