I agree with other reviewers; you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting a high end piece of furniture for $112, but I was expecting to receive something in good condition for the money paid. When I initially began to unpack the box, I was somewhat impressed by the top and sides of the table. They looked like they were of good quality (better than I was expecting). But then I pulled the shelves out. Very thin, very cheap. One was cracked, and the other was warped because it just hadn't been assembled properly. Even if the shelves had been undamaged, I wouldn't trust them to hold much weight. The box it came in was very well packaged and arrived unscathed, so I can only assume the damage was already there when this item was packaged by the manufacturer. Quality control is obviously nonexistent.I contacted Coaster directly figuring that like other "assemble it yourself" furniture companies, they would send me replacement shelves. They never responded to my inquiry. Digging further, I discovered that if a consumer has any issues, they are expected to get in touch with the retailer where the item was purchased. So basically, they are dodging any responsibility for their products. POOR!I contacted Amazon, and received wonderful service from them. They couldn't replace the shelves, but offered me a number of options. Two involved returning the table (which given it's size and the unlikelihood I could actually get it all back in the box, I opted not to take). Ultimately, Amazon issued me a 40% "goodwill" refund of the item (within 24 hours of my initiating complaint) which I'm keeping as a reminder to never buy a Coaster product again.I also recommended to Amazon that they stop carrying the Coaster product line, since they are obviously being handed all the responsibility for customer service by this deadbeat company.

In terms of attractiveness and value for money, this is probably more like a 5/5. However, the screws to attach the table top onto the shelves were too short for the job (or the pre-drilled screw holes were not deep enough), which led to some damage to the table during assembly, and extra work purchasing additional materials to complete the job.We had to go buy new screws that were 1/4" longer, and supplement them with wood glue to get the top to stay on. We ended up damaging the screw holes and scratching the top of the table trying to get it to work with the parts provided (FYI, the finish is very sensitive and scratches easily. Assemble this on a rug or drop cloth - we assembled it on our hardwood floors and there must have been a tiny rock or something on the floors that scratched the entire surface of the table under its own weight).For $100, it is still a nice table and looks nice in our house, and we eventually got it together pretty solidly. However, it was not assembly ready with the materials provided in the box.

It was ordered Dec. 18, shipped Dec. 21 and supposed to arrive by Jan. 2, but it didn't arrive until Jan. 5. OK, storms & the holidays may have held things up, no big deal.Instructions aren't as clear as some, like Saunders' products have I recommend you copy the front so you can lay the parts identification next to the assembly instructions. This could have been done by the manufacturer by printing on the back of the first page instead of leaving it blank.No step-by-step instructions, so some guessing is needed.Only 3 steps, and one is just to turn the table over when finished! DO NOT tighten (per instructions) at first, leave the sides wobbly so you can insert the top rails later.All in all, the finished table looks pretty good. The holes and edges match nicely. I think it's a good bargain.

The console table is relatively easy to put together, (the directions are a bittoo brief, so you have to figure things out), but once it's together it is solidand sturdy. The table looks nice but you do get what you pay for... and this one isrelatively cheap. My main gripe is that the "wood" appears attractive, but the shelvesactually have a veneer (contact paper) on them to simulate more expensive wood. Mine camefrom VisionDecor as the vendor and it has a couple "bubbles" on one of the shelves inthe veneer. It is too big, impossible to repack and would just be a hassle, so Ihave kept it. Quality, very average.

I purchased two of these. The first arrived; after the mounds of protective packaging were removed it was discovered there was a crack in one of the wood sides. Packaged it up, Amazon sent UPS back to pick it up, and a new one was delivered within a few days. Once the second one was put together, my husband discovered that ONE of the legs was 3/8" of an inch shorter than all the other legs. Doesn't seem like much, but it is if you aren't interested in your item constantly rocking back and forth with the slightest pressure. Thankfully he is handy and put a spacer on the bottom of the short leg. Again, it is pretty...but there seems to be a little quality control issue.

Fyi, To the seller, I got it today! When I go to my orders it says its on the way still but its here, First estimated delivery date:) To buyers, It took me about 30mins to put together, I'm redoing every piece of furniture in our living room, Bcuz it was dark n gloomy & I have a newborn that'll be running around soon also. I absolutely love it! I did not like that the directions are really all in one picture, I got a lil confused for a minute, But it is very simple & You just use logic, really. Its beautiful:) Love the color also! Couches & furniture set is arriving tmrw, And I cant wait to get everything in place! Definitley worth it & really is beautiful:) I thought I could post a pic with this review but its not showing that option? Seller, if u can tell me how I will post a picture as well!!!
