If you need a product that actually holds the hairstyle throughout the day, this is a great choice. It keeps ponytails and braids looking neat. It’s not sticky at all and leaves the hair feeling soft. The scent is mild and pleasant. Very happy with this purchase

My son is going on 10 months old and has a lot of hair but just in length..his hair is thin which would be considered normal for him but it is new for me to care for since I have had extremely thick and curly hair my entire life. I adore this product BUT there was only one thing I wasn’t completely ecstatic over. I’ll start with what I loved: Firstly, it completely smells AMAZING - can’t explain it but it’s heavenly I keep catching myself smelling my son’s hair way more often! - and it has also made his hair so much healthier in feel/texture and appearance. I bought it originally intending to style my son’s hair since I read that it will “hold on the playground”. Between that and reading all of the great reviews, I couldn’t pass this product up ESPECIALLY for the price. My son is a typical 10 month old boy so I was hoping that this product would really style and hold his hair. I love how it styles his hair BUT as nice as it looks is as quick as it’s back to looking like he just rolled out of bed! I get it - can’t be a miracle worker for exactly what I want for my son’s hair but for the other benefits of this product I will not stop buying this, for sure! I started combining a small amount of this with a small amount of Cantu’s other product that the “extra hold edge stay gel” (Also made without harsh ingredients, etc) which does hold his hair a lot more than with this by itself and is appropriate for his age and sensitive skin!

I love this product for my kids . It’s not very strong on their hairs, it smells so good. I like it a lot! It’s not the first time I bought it and it won’t be the last either

The product is more for girl hair styles. Like if you want to come the hair and make ponytails. It has a MILD hold!! Keeps the curls hydrated. Unfortunately, we did not love it for my son since we wanted something with more hold. We switched to the cantu curl cream❤️❤️❤️

Product came sealed and smells really good. It curls as suggested and is surprisingly not greasy since it seems to be water based. It dries fairly quick and the hold is not bad. It has been hydrating as I had hoped it would and provided a shine

It doesn’t have a lot to it. I would say that when used on wet hair it just kind of smooths everything out for hair that needs very slight frizz control. Gives definition to curls. It’s not a lasting styling product, it won’t hold a style -which may be a good thing as it doesn’t leave residue build up which is important. I bought this for my granddaughter when she stays with me, but decided to run some through my hair last time I washed it… I liked it! It’s a light slippery smoothing gel-ish liquid- my hair dried less frizz, a little more curl definition, and the ingredients are nice. Smells perfect, no hint of overly fragranced salon products.

I love all the cantu products! I wanted to try this on my son who has curly/ wavy hair. This products holds his curls all day without his hair looking greasy. The product also has a great smell and the texture is light and easy to spread through you fingers.

This has changed the game for wash day. My own hairdresser recommended it. I have a 2 year old with coily curly hair. She won’t let me (or anyone else) comb it after any sort of tagging. This product is light (hence doesn’t leave residue), subtle scent, and makes the hair slippery enough for easy combing. Love love love

I have been using this product for YEARS! Keeps there hair together throughout the school day but is so easy to brush out the product and re-do. One great thing about it is also that it does not dry their hair out! Its not a gel that leaves a layer of grease or stickiness, it allows their hair to still look soft while keeping it in place, I use it on my daughters straight hair and my nieces curly hair x
