This was a great doll bed for my daughter. I bought it for her for Christmas. I loved the price. It sure beats paying over $200 for an American Girl brand doll bed. It fits American Girl dolls and is very sturdy and adorable. She absolutely loved it! Item does require some assembly but was very simple to put together.

Just received this yesterday and put it together for my little girl last night. She absolutely loves it since it's perfect for her American Girl doll. I have to say that I am also very impressed with the quality of this product as well. It was relatively easy to put together. It appears to be super sturdy and there is ample room for her dolls. The little clothes storage area has plenty of room for doll clothes. I purchase extra hangers since it does only come with three. If you are looking for a good quality and well made bed for you child's dolls then I highly recommend Badger Basket. It was well worth the price and the bed exceeded my expectations.

This item came to us in a big box and made lots of noises when we moved it. When we open the box, it was in a clear plastic bag with a knot tied at the top. There were holes all over the plastic bag and broken pieces of wood and three screws, rolling around in the box. There was nothing holding the pieces in place (as far as packing material. ) When we finally got everything out, we noticed that it was partially assembled. Things were in the wrong spot (like the dowels) the screws were stripped out, and the bottoms of the bed are all banged up. I do not have time to send it back as my daughter’s birthday is this week so my husband luckily works in a shop where he has access to with tools and glue and clamps, and he’s going to fix it and re-shoot it with paint I was very disappointed in this product I’d really like my money back. I think this is so unfair. Hopefully the bunkbed looks OK by the time we’re done with it but I do not have time to send it back and get another one.

This is such a great value! It fits 2 18 inch dolls AND it has the 'closet' on the end! I priced a doll bed and doll clothes closet separately (my daughter wanted both), and it would have cost at least twice as much as I paid for this! It fits her American Girl doll perfectly! In fact, she just got 2 new AG dolls for her b-day, so I just ordered another of these beds so they each have a place to sleep. The assembly was fairly easy and the quality it good. I think it will last a long time. If you're on the fence, get it! You won't be disappointed!!

The headboard was missing a peg and to hide this, it was poorly glued. The glue did not hold in transit and so the headboard chipped and cannot be fixed. I overlooked some of the negative comments and now my 9 year old is hysterical. DO NOT BUY!!!!! FYI: Despite that THEY SENT IT BROKEN, THEY DON'T COVER RETURN SHIPPING. UPDATE: After requesting a refund (and probably seeing my comment), the organization sent me another bed and did not require me to return the broken one. The new bed was missing one of the two holes to connect the closet to the bed. It was still pretty sturdy with one screw. The instructions aren't very helpful but it took less than an hour to build so it was not big deal. My sister is very happy that her doll now has a proper bed and closet.

We bought 4 of these for our grand daughters. They were easy enough to put together and look very sturdy. The little quilts that come with it leave a lot to be desired but I made custom quilts and matching curtains for the closet so it didn't matter. But the beds themselves are very nice. The closet can be removed and will stand alone as will the beds so you can have two pieces if you like. It also comes with three little clothes hangers. Very cute

First, this is not the first review I wrote. I wrote one around Christmas when my granddaughter opened the box to find the thing in ruins. I was mad, so I want to set the record straight. I think I had requested a refund, but they sent me a new one a few days later. I have pros and cons. First the pros: Product was packaged well. Instructions are good. The wood work is well done, except for one corner which didn't fit well (see picture). It is a very cute toy. Now the cons: The screws were too small for the pre-drilled holes. I had to improvise and went down to my wood shop and ended up putting in new fasteners and gluing the thing with my furniture clamps. Although the instructions said there were only 2 types of screws, when I was finishing up I noticed there were 3 different types in the package. This may account for the assembly problems. Anyway, it was a bear to put together and I definitely think you need two people to work together to assembly it. Getting by that issue, the thing is fairly well made for what it is and what it costs. My granddaughter will enjoy it. I hope I don't have to put another one together!

I was impressed but the quality of this item especially for the price. My husband had planned on building our daughter a bunk bed for beloved "sisters" but was just running short on time so I decided to give this one a try. I assembled it by myself (although a second set of hands would have been usefully a few times). We have the closet area separate and I was worried it wouldn't be as sturdy if it wasn't attached to the bed. However it is very sturdy as well. Some reviewers mentioned the width as being on the small side and having trouble fitting doll hangers from other brands it but we've only had one hanger that didn't work. All the others fit fine.

Much better then spending $300 -$400 on the American Girl Doll bed as it serves the same purpose. Daughter loved it!
