Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah follow their passions as they enter New Orleans. My only complaint is that I have to wait for the next book. I would love to see this three book series end up in a feature film. This was an easy read and I was able to finish in two sittings. It might be a bit more complicated if I didn't already know the characters and knew their background and origins. I was simply sucked (no pun intended) right in the moment I first saw Ian Somerholder on the late-night road. That being said, if you are fans of the show, you will love the book. With each sentence, I was able to plug the faces from the television series right into the scenes. However, even without having seen the shows, if you like vampire lore, this book will keep you entertained.
