oten Women's Vintage Cocktail Dress Floral Print 1950's Rockabilly Halter Swing Dresses

I ordered a size L after reading the reviews as it said I should have ordered an XXL. (The sizing chart definitely needs reviewing) I'm so glad I went with my instincts after reading them. I'm a size 12 (34 DD on top) and can get into some 12's on the bottom but 14 more for comfort. This dress has elastic at the back and plenty of room for underwear. It's a beautiful fit with underwear and still comfortable. I could possibly have gone down a size but I'm glad I stuck with the L. The material doesn't look cheap and is well made. It definitely gives you a lovely shape. I'm very happy with this purchase!

What a nice dress! It's the second one I buy and in both ocassions I went for theXL size (I'm a large 12) and itfits really well, perhaps alittle loose on the chest area, but nothing noticeable visually. It looks very good without a petticoat, just iron it when it arrives and it's ready to wear. I've read some reviews about it creasing up easily, but all the times I've worn it, it came back to the wardrobe looking fine. I definitely recommend this purchase: decent quality, really comfortable and it looks great.

So I got my tape measure out, checked their sizing guide for the halter neck dresses. My measurements told me I am an XXL. I am usually a size 14 UK trousers, and 12 UK top. I thought woah that sounds big so I got a size down (XL) just so it fitted snugly...Well it was MASSIVE!! The dress has elastic round the waist and my waist wasn't even touching the elastic to even start stretching it. It was super long too (I am 5ft 9).So I sent it back wondering if I should get a size down or 2 sizes down. I decided to order a M (3 sizes down from the size guides measurements for me) and it couldn't fit better! I am using a little of the elastic waist stretch, it comes down to the right place on my legs and it looks fitted and a lovely shape now.Please don't listen to their size guide - it is so wrong. Well at least it was for me. Sizes come up LARGE!! Remember the waist is elasticated.(5ft 9, 14 trousers and 12 tops) my waist is about 33inches)

Needed this for a 50s party loved the dress and thought after reading the reviews I would buy it. I did email the seller and got a reply . I was unsure of to go for large or x large .I am a 14 with 38/39 bust . I ordered the large and I couldn’t believe the fit perfect I am so glad . The dress isn’t of the super quilty but it is nice and it does look good. I also bought a petticoat from an other surplier as these don’t sell them . I ordered a 14 and it fits like a glove . Makes all the difference. I’ve now ordered all the little bits to make the outfit superb can not wait to wear on New Year’s Eve .

This dress is absolutely fabulous. Wore it to a friends 50s Themed Party and had so many compliments. It is great quality, fits really well (I am a size 12 and bought a size L) and looks so good. I bought a stretchy belt and net underskirt separately to finish off the look. The service was very good - next day delivery! Happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend.

It was cheap and looks alright but it's badly put together and one side sits higher than the other. I guess we just got a bad example but it was too late to send it back and choose something else so the wife had to make do with it.

This is a lovely dress. Sadly, I've had to send it back. I'm quite top heavy and should have known better than to order a halterneck, so I was most disappointed in myself, not the product. This has a lovely mesh hem and although it did fit well, it didn't look great on me with my boobs! That said, it's still a beautiful dress and if you can get a decent strapless bra, it may sit better on you. I just felt it pull a little on my neck and knew an all day wear would give me a headache.

This dress makes me feel fabulous and looks wonderful with an underskirt! If you love vintage style stuff then these dresses are amazing value for money and you won't be dissapointed. Word of warning though, the size chart tells you to go way bigger than you actually need to. I'm a 14 and the XL fits With room to spare, I could easily have fitted a large! Had I have not looked at reviews I'd have ordered bigger and it would have been huge!!
