K&N HVAC Filter Cleaner: 32 Oz Spray Bottle Filter Cleaner and Refresher; Restores K&N Home Air Filter Performance; 99-6010

I have been using this cleaner for several years to maintain my K&N washable HVAC filters and consider it an important part of the cleaning process. The cleaner does a good job helping remove dirt and buildup from the filter media and helps keep the filters performing properly between uses. Because I own multiple K&N filters, I continue to purchase this product whenever I need another bottle. The only issue I have experienced was with my most recent order, which arrived with a small amount of leakage in the bottle. Fortunately, it was not enough to prevent me from using the product, but the packaging could be improved to prevent leaks during shipping. Aside from that issue, the cleaner has worked well and remains my preferred choice for maintaining my washable HVAC filters.

You do have to spray thoroughly and leave on it to soak for like 5 minutes, but it does a pretty good job!

This filter cleaner by K&N makes cleaning the same brand of air filters so much faster. Great value for the bottle size. We have two filters now and cleaning is much easier than using what we had. It really gets the junk out of the filters so much better. While we clean them we realize we need to clean them more often lol. Highly recommend!

If you have K&N home furnace filter then this is the stuff they recommend to use when cleaning it every couple months. I made my 1st bottle last me about 3yrs doing my cleanings every 4mo. This stuff is getting expensive. Used to get bottles for around $12 and now their around $25. I waited til this went on sale around $17 and bought my 2nd bottle. Reason i gave 4 stars is because the stuff does work but is expensive and to be honest the cleaning power could be better. I found that even after cleaning and rinsing filter with this stuff that if I go back with Dawn Powerwash and rinsing it out a 2nd time the Dawn will pull out even more brown water out of filter. This stuff is decent but for the price should be way better.

We have had a K&N washable HVAC filter for a couple of years now. It works well by this cleaner is kind of expensive but better than throwing old ones in trash every month.

A K&N whole house HVAC filter came with our new home so I was intrigued since I previously only knew them in cars! So I pulled out the filter to clean it and used hot water in the tub with a hand sprayer. I cleaned it both sides until no more dirt came out. Then I sprayed the K&N filter cleaner on it and repeated the process. A lot more dirt came out! I let the filter dry outside for a whole day —we were going to be gone anyway. Then replaced it the next day. It cooled much more quickly. I think I have enough cleaner in this bottle to last me for several years.

I need to change out my filters frequently and thought this would help to give them another week or so but not sure what it cleans since the reason to change a filter for me is they are full of dust - spraying this on the filter does not get rid of the dust - only mixes it with moisture making it even harder to vacuum or shake off and if the thick dust is shaken or vacuumed off first then what are we cleaning - need to figure out another use for it but it sure does not help lengthen the life of a filter... probably could have returned it but I opened it and not comfortable returning what I had opened and tried. Glad it was not expensive. What I really needed was a small trial size bottle.
