Hoover Concentrated Hard Floor Cleaner v Comparable Good
This is a concentrated floor cleaner by a brand name manufacturer of the brand name device I use on my hard tiled kitchen, entry and bathroom floors. The solution does the job I would expect it to do with the efficiency I expect added not by the cleaner, but the device floor scrubber/cleaner I use. It is no better or worse than other cleaning solutions I've put on the floor prior to buying the Hover upright floor cleaner (scrubber/vacuum). I can't see that is more efficient, nor less efficient than a Wetjet's name brand solution for the device one pops the bottle on, squirts a trigger to spray, then sweeps/mops with a disposable brand cloth-like product on the end. Is it good for the price? Yes. As it is a concentrated solution at 2:1 ratio with regular water for a full tank on the Hover upright, 32 oz. can go a long way, particularly in my household where most of the floor scrubbing is routine and mostly necessary because of my dog's indoor/outdoor life and what may come along in from outside on the bottom of shoes, with some merit to timely bathroom scrubbing in one of 2 1/2 particularly, because it is also where the cat's litter box is and no matter how many papers or bath rugs/mats may be down or as big a litter box as my cat has or could ever need, there's no stopping of the granules of the litter from getting kicked out as the pet covers her "dooty," or walks away with the "sand" stuck to her paws... Since I use the Scoop Litter, one little granule hits the floor and one drop of water meets it from one exiting shower, brushing teeth, washing hands, and it's stuck to the floor until the scrubber comes after it. Used to do the hands and knees bit, but when I met the Hoover device, I met a "new friend" for the household. That all said. I remind: neither better or worse at intended use than comparable solutions on the market, but at the price... fair and reasonable, to a little better than some. I'd buy again, but frankly, off a local brick and mortar store shelf than ordering online and waiting as done here. It is no genie, takes me with the machine, scrub sponge, brush for seams, corners, and a solution to really clean the floor.

and I cannot believe how dirty the water is
I bought the Hoover floor cleaner machine to use on my tile kitchen floor. It's white, but doesn't have a shiny finish (sorry, it was in the house when I bought it, so I've never educated myself as to what it is called). I do know that it is somewhat porous, so I wet-mopped with a spin mop every other day, and used a steam mop the other days, so I felt I probably had the cleanest tiles in town. Then I bought this stuff... and I cannot believe how dirty the water is. I now have a puppy who is learning housebreaking, so I am just leaving the machine in the corner, loaded and ready to go. I'm going to clean every day until the bottom return bin is clean. I cannot believe so much dirt is coming up. I used dishwasher detergent once a week, and water and white vinegar the other times in the spin-mop thing, and steam the other day, so it's not buildup, but you will be surprised at how much dirt is on your floor. I don't know... maybe better not to buy and just live in ignorant bliss.I am not OCD... it's that I have a lot of drop in company, and they come through my garage, not through the front door, so that's the first thing they see.

It’s good BUT you don’t need it
My bf bought me a Hoover vacuum/mop for my birthday and it came with a small bottle of this. It works the way you would expect it too. The Hoover box said only to use this liquid but I ran out of my small bottle before this one had arrived and used cleaning vinegar instead and honestly it worked and my Hoover doesn’t seem to be affected by the vinegar... with that being said I will use the bottle of Hoover cleaning solution now that I have it but after this bottle I’ll probably just use the cleaning vinegar

Makes A Huge Difference
When we first moved into our new home, we used the Hoover Floormate and this cleaner to clean all the sealed hardwood and tile floors in the house before moving in. This cleaner, combined with the device, worked so well that you could see the difference in small corners I couldn't reach. There was a grungy film close to a corner I couldn't reach, versus the shiny clean floor where I got the floormate to reach. I didn't realize how disgusting the floor was until I used the floormate and this cleaner. I will admit, the floormate device is heavy, but I use it once a week because it's worth the effort for how clean it gets my floors.

Works great.
Bought the floormate machine -- which I think is one of the best floor cleaning devices ever made. I use the supply tank cap, 2 cap fulls for 1.5L of warm water. Doesn't seem to leave any visible residue and the floors are clean. I'm still amazed at how much grime is removed from our tile floors after 7-10 days (two people, no pets). Great product.

Works well - but not a cheap choice.
I use this in my Hoover Floormate on tile floors in a house with multiple dogs. It works embarrassingly well - the dirty water tank appalled me, since the floors looked clean. Its major advantage is that it does not foam at all so it does not overwet the filter at the top of the dirty water tank. As a result the electric motor does not get damp and does not short out after a while. I have had several Floormates in which the motors makes more and more noise over time and eventually smoke and burn out - this is the reason. This helps prevent that. But I go through a bottle in no time and larger bottles are about $80 - almost as much as the machine! But it does clean well.

It's what the manufacturer recommended
Yet it is what the manufacturer recommends so that's why I use it. Seems a little expensive.

Totally worth it, if you have a Hoover Floormate
Over the years I have purchased many machines to help make cleaning my hardwood and tile floors easier. Everything from steam cleaners, to various mops and robots. The hoover floormate cleaner has been the best thing I have found. I love that it puts down fresh clean solution and vacuums up the dirt. Its amazing to see how much dirt and grime it gets off the floor, even if you have just cleaned it with a different machine/mop. The floormate requires this product and I am fine with purchasing it, as it works well.
