Underworks USA Double Panel Utimate Chest Binder Tank - FTM, Trans Top - 997

I'm a large (overweight) FTM individual who is pre-top surgery and hands down Underworks has the best binders that work on me. I've tried a few other brands before that are meant for smaller people but just 'up-sized' to fit me, and they were basically just an undershirt, which any dude with excess breast tissue can tell you does not bind at all, just kind of lays over your chest. When you're someone walking around with DD sized chest AND a big waist, you go in knowing it's never going to be perfect. Nothing short of top surgery can do that. This won't turn you into a male model, but it will flatten your breasts down to match your belly, giving you a flat (and thus more masculine) chest. Now I can be a normal fat dude and actually leave the house. If you're a cis-guy with just 'some' breast tissue from being over weight, then this product would work even better for you. Smooths out the lumps and you probably have a lot less of a hurdle to overcome in the first place. Hey, if it's working for the transguy with the DD chest, it's probably going to be a godsend for you. Fits true to sizing. Measure yourself before you order. I listened to other reviews and I wear a thin undershirt beneath the binder to combat chafing. Never had any issues with roll-ups or sliding around, but I also don't wear the binder by itself so who knows? Only con I can think of is that the neck is a little wavy on the front, especially after extended use. Might look weird under low cut shirts.... but if you're wearing this you're probably not trying to draw attention to your chest with low cut shirts anyway (at least I'm not), so YMMV. All in all as a transman this product helped me overcome a significant portion of my dysphoria, enabling me to get out of the house more and stop stressing at work. Very glad I found it.

I am FTM, so I purchased this for binding purposes. Also, for reference purposes, I am a 38C 1/2. I ordered the extra large binder. This will also offer a comparison to GC2B binders. If that’s you jive and you’re buying this for that purpose, here’s what I can tell you: -If you have worn GC2B binders before (which I have), the material is not like their material. The material is a little more stiff, but softens over time. -This does work well for folks with larger chests. With the other brand mentioned, I found that it didn’t provide me with the flatness I wanted. Their material has more give to it, but this is a FULL binder. Meaning it will help flatten you stomach a bit as well, which makes me feel more comfortable compared to the other binder mentioned. -It’s long, so don’t worry about it riding up. It may for some folks, but it’s long enough for me that I can tuck it into my pants comfortably. -It will cut into your shoulders and armpits for a bit. If you wear binders, you already know that the struggle is real when it comes to binders in that area. I have nothing negative to say about this binder whatsoever aside from the fact that it’s a little loose or “baggy” (around the neck area and armpits) in places, but that’s typical with binders since each size fits every chest and person differently. Plus, you know the drill if you bind. It’s a process. I would definitely purchase another binder like this. I feel less dysphoric in this one compared to the GC2B brand. I was constantly adjusting.

Bought this for FtM binding, worn it about 10 times now, and it works for that. Goal achieved. It gives a good, flat profile, doesn't do the pigeon breast thing, and does nice overall compression on the rest of the torso. It's far better than the jerry-rigged items I've used for binding for ages and seems sturdier in construction and like it will last a good long while. All good things. I will likely buy more. That said, it's not perfect. As others have mentioned, the fabric leaves a lot to be desired, texture-wise. It is a stiff, tight-weave mesh-like material (nylon/spandex). The back is one layer and the front seems to be two. It is rougher than all of my prior compression or shapewear garments I've worn for binding. I am not sensory-sensitive to this sort of thing, but I can easily believe it could be a problem for many who are. To its credit, it gives a good, consistent stretch/constriction and doesn't seem like it will stretch out quickly. Again as others have mentioned, the seams have a "bacon collar" issue. Also, the cut of arm holes assumes a large-armed and broad-backed person — neither of which I am — so there's some considerable gaping there for me. If you're trying to go superstealth and don't have a broad back or thick upper arms, both of these details mean it will show a bit under your shirt. The measurement instructions given worked PERFECTLY for me where the chest is concerned, however it is EXTREMELY long. YMMV, but I am relatively short-torsoed and have to fold back 4" of the bottom and it still tucks deep into my underwear. I plan to hem it to fit my back length better. Overall, I'm pleased and will likely buy more, but it's not perfect. I picked Underworks for the good reviews I got from other transmascs, the fact there is a return policy (as compared to a lot of the popular binder makers that offer shop credit at best), and the straightforward measurement instructions (that proved to be accurate IME). In all of those areas, this product delivered.

I’m a trans guy who’s 6 foot tall and around 220 pounds (XL) and this binder has by far been my favorite I’ve ever got and I'm about to buy a second one. Every body is different, but it’s breathable, stretchy, and I have been able to safely sing and work out in it without it being unsafe for me or restricting my breathing (as much) which is a huge relief for the gym or for longer work hours. It doesn’t make me as flat as some of my binders as a trade-off, but it compresses things to look more pec- like. Passing isn’t everything, but it has helped me be out and about a little more than I was before and feel comfortable without feeling like I’m sacrificing health or parts of my life I enjoy while being a little safer in my state. The only downsides were that the texture completely caught me off guard at first. It was stiff and I had no idea how I was going to get it on my body.. but the results outweighed the texture nightmare it was for a bit. It also gets softer with washes so that has been helpful. Anyways, I’m not one to write reviews, but it’s been a few months and the fact that I’m about to buy a second one when it’s a little more expensive for me speaks volumes.

[ Background info: I am a petite but fairly muscular person (5'3", 130lbs) with a larger-than-average bust (32 DD). I am trans-masculine and purchased this to use for daily binding ] Despite my rating, I want to be clear that this product is definitely better than a sports-bra in terms of general comfort and performance. If you're looking for a good first binder for the price or just something to get you a little flatter than a sports bra, this will do the trick. However, if you have larger breasts (I'd say a full C or larger) and you're looking for something to get you ace-bandage level flat, this alone probably won't get you there. I compiled some of my likes/dislikes to demonstrate some of the specific little details... Pros: - better than a sports bra for minimizing movement/jiggle - made with breathable materials so you won't get terribly sweaty if you're layering - isn't so tight that you can't breathe (once you get it on correctly) - gives the "buff" look; doesn't bind to completely flat, but can give the appearance of large pecs - promotes good posture; it's really hard to slouch while you're wearing this - not too expensive Cons: - nearly impossible to put on/take off without assistance for at least the first couple of wears - shorter people / people with shorter torsos will have a lot of extra fabric at the bottom - collar comes up a little high and seams are visible through light layers - fits somewhat awkwardly on an hourglass/curvy figure; pinches and bunches with a lot of movement - not an "extreme" amount of flattening (somewhere between a tight sports bra and an ace bandage) I'm giving this 3 stars because, though the product does work, it isn't very exceptional; It didn't provide me with the "extreme" "ultimate" "maximum... power" that I was expecting from the way it was advertised. This will definitely get you flatter than a sports bra, and if you wore it under a couple of layers you could appear to not have breasts, but his product definitely seems better suited for people with smaller breasts and/or traditionally masculine figures.

I had bought from this company about 12 years ago and I am so glad to have stumbled across them again now that I needed a new compression shirt. Yes. I have been using the same one for 12 years! It has only just now started developing holes and the stitching is starting to pull. This new one is quite a bit more stiff than my old one, but I am sure after a few washings/wears it will become just as comfortable! This was, surprisingly, able to flatten me very well! I am a 46 DDD or G depending on the bra and this was able to get me almost entirely flat! I am a little sad to see that there is a lot of extra fabric around the arm holes and the neckline has a little bit of a wave to it so it will not sit flush under a shirt. But otherwise this is such a great purchase! Definitely worth the price!

You must be kidding. I know binders are tight and uncomfortable by definition, as I have worn several, however this one is just absurd. My measurements put me at the smaller end of this size window (I also considered the size below), but I still could only barely get it on and needed a friend to help me get it off. It was a complete horror show from start to finish. Despite this I might have considered keeping it (so strong is my desire for a flat chest), but the material is this ultra-scratchy torture fabric that irritated the heck out of my skin from just the short time I had the misfortune of being in contact with it. The material was so abrasive it felt like sharp needles poking me constantly all over the entire front and back of my torso. It was so horrible I started yelling, "Get it off!!!!! Oh my gawd help me get it offffffff!!!!!" to my friend in the other room. I don't recommend trying this binder without emergency support services on standby. Or just don't try it at all and spare yourself the horror.

I’ve had a few binders in the past. Two gc2b binders and recently a spectrum binder. I gained about 60 pounds from being on bc and unfortunately that also affected my chest size. The spectrum binder fits similarly to the gc2b binders but honestly didn’t provide the level of compression and flatness I was looking for. I honestly felt hopeless in finding a good quality binder for my chest size. I did some digging online and found that this binder works wonders for people with larger chests. The feeling of the fabric was a bit off putting but once I had it on it flattened me so much and it honestly didn’t even bother me. I still have a sort of round chest but it’s much flatter than what I was initially working with. The fabric makes it easy to slip on and take off and my chest doesn’t feel horribly sore like it normally does after taking off a binder which is a huge plus. All in all, I highly recommend this binder to anyone looking for a comfortable, breathable binder that provides the best compression I’ve personally experienced, especially when I’m working with a 46” chest.

Excelente producto. La compresión es excelente. No tengo un busto exagerado, pero el que hay es incómodo a la hora de ocultarlo. Soy talla 38B, pedí una mediana para mayor compresión, pero fácil podría utilizar una grande y seguiría siendo cómoda. Necesitas bastante fuerza y elasticidad para poder colocarla, pero al menos a mi eso noeolesta. La camiseta me comprime lo exacto para no ser incómoda al utilizarla y eso es lo importante para mi . 10/10.

Works as it should. Lasts a few years of daily wear

Have bought a few of these over the years as they are comfy and good value for money. I have a size 50 chest and find an XL size is the perfect fit. The large is quite tight. Made from good quality material and hides and contours body.

Gives a very nice shape, in my opinion.

Bought for a family member. He finds the elasticity good as well as the fit. The top washes up well without piling. Make sure to hang dry.
