Glacier TekClassic Cool Vest with Set of 8 Nontoxic Cooling Packs

This is by far the best cooling vest I’ve owned. I’ve owned three different types. I work with horses out in the heat, and the older I get, the less heat tolerant I am. This vest easily fits most everyone, and the vest itself is sturdy yet allows good air flow. It is easy and quick to put on compared to other vests I’ve had. The ice packs last longer than most.

Making the right choice purchasing this vest when riding my sport bike in 100-plus-degree heat. The only downside is it only lasts me 30 min until I need to swap out a backup pack. For best cooling performance keep it under a jacket with no airflow mesh lining because it will melt faster.

For almost 200 you'd expect the product to be flawless, especially when the competition is way cheaper. The pockets for the freezer packs are offset so one side pocket will just slide in while the other will be a struggle. This is an issue for both the front and back, forget getting both packets going into a single sleeve. If you're on a jobsite where time is of the essence it's unacceptable. Because of this oversight the tighter side pocket already seems to be ripping the fabric. Terrible product for the price. Fix your product or charge half the price.

This is a wonderful vest that I can use all year around. It keeps me cool under my PPE at work, but also will help me when I do summer yard work. I am planning on buying a spare pack set, so I can always have another cooled set on hand. It is a bit of an investment, but from the quality it is made from, I definitely will get many years use out of it.

It is definitely helpful. I have small fiber neuropathy with a sensitivity to the heat so this has given me my summer life back. I only wear it in the yard and I still am pretty uncomfortable but this is just wonderful.It comes with two sets of ice packs so there’s always some in the freezer. I wish it had a V neck for additional cooling effect. It does seem like it will be durable but I do feel it is overpriced for what we get.I am overweight and it still offers enough Velcro strapping for a bigger person.

Works well in hot weather when golfing. A little bulky but did not really interfere with my swing. Lasts about 2.5 hours

This vest keeps me literally cool - even without AC inside and in the full sun outside. The best is that it is recharged so quickly. It is very comfortable to wear, even my kids tried it and loved it (it is adjustable in size) .I usually don't write reviews, but this one is too good to just stay quiet about.Love itSusanne

Perfect for the trade will keep you cool the jobsite when it is wicked hot last about 3/4 hours keep a cooler with ice to put the packs in to recharge it !

Impressive that the ice packs come out of the freezer not 'icey' but a steady cold that lasts really well.Still glad I've got a spare pack of cooling packs for a quick swap over if I need them.The vest and packs are well designed and work well in our sub-tropical and very humid climate here in Brisbane Australia.Don't bother trying to save money by buying silly evaporative coolers, this vest setup offers a proper 'dry' cooling effect.Double check your sizing, we found the sizing is a little bigger than expecting on our one.Brilliant customer service from Glacier Tek, they are very helpful with answering questions and providing solutions. Delivery is also very quick.
