I had read various reviews and decided that for the price of £8.99 compared to Apples £29.99 I would take a risk.I took a photo on my camera, took out the SD hc card, placed it in the reader and plugged it into my iPad.I opened photos, and the screen changed to show the Import option, both at the bottom of the screen and in the options after the photo images.I clicked on Import from the option bar at the bottom of the screen and selected the photo to import. It was easy peasy. Admittedly I only selected one photo and some of the negative reviews were about multiple up loads at the same time. I will take it cautiously uploading more frequently so as not to overload the system, and hopefully all will be well as I do prefer the feel of a camera to a phone in my hand when taking photographs.

This is excellent for transferring photos etc from a camera to the iPad. It works very well for SdD cards which are of a low to medium class , but the class 10 cards which seem to require a lot of power to transfer to the iPad will not work for me. I wasn’t surprised as the iPad generally lacks the power that a PC has. However despite this limitation it is a useful device.

Does not work on iPad Air 2019 iOS 13.3.1 It comes on with import icon then starts to download photos then just stops and goes back to album’s. Tried it 5 times but still the same. Will be returning for a refund.

Very tight fit and you worry that you may be damaging the contacts on your SD card. It does, however, work once the card is fully inserted.

Doesn’t work.Bought for holiday so didn’t try beforehand, now too late to return.I’m tech savvy too so Tried on another iPhone and an iPad and it just refuses to work.

Easy to use. Just plug in & go to photos then to albums then to imports & your photos should be there. Remember you can’t download photos to the card as this is only a card reader.

Tbh it's a sd card reader nothing special have to have coz you know apple used it a few times to get photos and videos off of my camera and it's OK for the price didn't really want to pay apple prices sum it all up its good cheap and if it brakes I'll buy another one

absolutely does the job. I bought to edit videos taken on my camera, on my phone. I couldn't because I Had to download the videos on my phone first and I didn't have enough space. But it did what It was suppose to do. The quality was exactly to same.
