I bought this to protect a visiting medical team serving in rural areas of Cebu Island, Philippines. Rabies kills many here, primarily from dog bites.I used the spray to confront many dogs encroaching on our outdoor medical stations serving isolated, poor, Filipinos. Sadly, this Sabre "spray" did not perform like the Sabre Gel.They don't tell you the canister is not pressurized. Contents are ejected by a thumb pump. Also the pepper spray is significantly less effective than the Sabre Gel. It did not keep the scavenging stray dogs away from the volunteers, patients and the medical supplies.Also the spray nozzle easily clogs leaving you facing a snarling dog with red pepper spray running down your hand. Local kids with big sticks saved the day. I threw this partially empty, leaky pepper spray away.
