First this book takes you back, back to the happy memories of childhood. Mr. Rogers taught me things I was afraid to ask. He made me feel like he was talking to only me. It’s hard to bring back a feeling as special as that, but this book helps conjure up all of those warm and fuzzies again. But this isn’t just about those old school feels. This book also appeals to your adult curiosity. There’s so much more that I didn’t know about the show, even as a native Pittsburgher. I love this book and the ability it has to transport me back to a simpler life.

Before I gave this book as a gift I took the time to read it for myself and was very impressed. The book tells interesting facts of how the TV show came about and the many talents of Mr. Rogers. I would recommend this book to people who watched and loved Mr. Rogers.

This book pretty much has it all about the series, the show meant a lot to me as a young child because I didn't have many friends, grew up as an overweight child & was often made to feel not human like everyone else. It felt like Mister Rogers was talking to me directly when he said "I like you just as you are." Chock full of photos, interviews with cast & crew, gives you basically many things you wanted to know about the behind the scenes of the series, & things you didn't realize you wanted to know. Highest recommendation! Worth every penny & much more!

This book is so wonderful! I grew up watching Mr Rogers and my boys loved it too. The book is thick, filled with beautiful pictures, history and feedback with all the cast. Worth the price. Enjoyment for kids and adults.

If you want to be transported back into the neighborhood of mr rogers then this book is the one to do it it is one Amazing book it has a lot of things about the show that fans of all ages did not realize about the show it is a memoir about the tv show i highly recommend this book to any mr rogers neighborhood fans
