Standard MAP bottles are pretty long and heavier than old butane tins so a pain to get into corners while plumbing. This allows you to prop the bottle upright somewhere off to the side and then you can use the torch to get into corners/around pipe. Works fine.

Seems strong. Fits well. Can't fault it.

little bit upset wasn't the one in sellers photo could of got this one cheaper from another seller and would of had free shipping to hose connection in advert is copper this one is tin or some other cheap metal, might not have any negative effect on product ex build quality or longevity time will tell, keep it but wont be buying off this seller again.one plus it came quicker than quoted.

Bought to replace a Rothenberger extension which got a small hole in the hose. Its a pipe with two connectors - buy the cheaper version - what could go wrong? Well the gas valve is entirely pointless because it does not restrict the flow of gas let alone shut the gas off. I use the shut off valve when transporting so no inadvertent gas release if the trigger gets knocked when among tools. Because for me this is not safe, but I needed to use it, I thought I could make one good hose out of two non functional hoses. Anti tamper means the new one was destroyed while dismantling. Great! Furthermore the threaded connectors on the two hoses for the MAPP fittings are different sizes. Didn't send it back because its now in pieces. Putting this one down to experience. Avoid.

Works as stated.But check that you have the correct end on your blow torch first.

Great now turned my heavy and cumbersome mapp brazing torch into a much more easily to use brazing torch. No longer having a cylinder in the way.Delivered early very well made
