Great inexpensive therapy spoons.
They are what they say they are, and they do what they say they do. If your occupational therapist suggests the use of stimulating spoons, it's worth it, might speed up therapy enough to eliminate one or more later visits. These weren't specifically recommended, but they appear to be inexpensive and available via amazon prime, so they fit the bill for me.No issues cleaning or using them, we just toss them in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes. Our baby wasn't happy with them at first, but got used to them and has improved at a rate that the OT is more than happy with. The bowl portion is very shallow, and doesn't hold much, so don't expect to be feeding a lot of food with these, or very runny foods. The textured bottom holds food as well, and it takes some time for the baby to remove it, so we've sometimes just handed the spoon to the baby with a little applesauce on it, and it keeps him busy for several minutes. The handle has a rectangular cross section, and is easy to manipulate and hold, don't expect flowing soft curves, this spoon is all business.

GREAT SPOON FOR ORAL (MOUTH) INPUT
My son has low tone in his mouth and he just loves the input he gets from these spoons. They are just the right size for little hands and have a very shallow end that is good for reducing the amount of food introduced into his mouth. I am so grateful his speech therapist introduced us to these! I plan on using them for a long time or until no longer needed.

The product itself is great. Good quality. Just didn't work for my son.

Great spoon for extra stimulation
I am a speech pathologist and Love these to provide extra stimulation in the mouth in a way that doesn’t feel too invasive. Highly recommend

Could be a lot better
These are ok - the quality of the plastic is not great so I worry about using them with a teething baby or a child who might possibly try to chew on them. It seems like the textured parts could break off.
