This is an excellent addition to my equipment in my truck. I use my vehicle for work, and was using the magnetic button that clips to the A/C vent, which came off frequently when dismounting the phone - what a hassle it was. This mount holds tight in the cup holder. My only complaint, and it isn't enough to take away a star, is that I would like the neck to be a tad bit longer - my personal preference. This mount is well built and sturdy. It does not move around in the cup holder at all once tightened properly. The head swivels to direct the phone where you need it. It also has different set up where you can use grip mount or magnetic mount, which is what I use. If you are considering this mount, you can't go wrong.

I like this so much I ordered a second one for my other car. My iPhone 6 is in a wallet, so it would work itself loose in all the other holders. This one has a "ledge" at the bottom so it doesn't do that, and the grasper sides are big enough to leave the phone in the wallet. I saw this type of holder on TV for $50, and of course, immediately went to Amazon to see if there was something similar for less $. My one complaint is that it is pretty short. I wish the top telescoped so I could make it higher in my car. In my RV it is a perfect height.

It’s a great product a lot better than the weathertech cup holder and a lot cheaper too.

I wanted To love this, and I did For a moth and a half.The product was easy to install and use on a daily basis.I got Into the car today and placed my phone on the mount and when I grabbed my phone the whole top piece came with it.Upon inspection the threads that hold it all together are stripped out!I installed It once and have to adjust it only a couple of times.Now I cant Put it back together because the threads are stripped.

I bought a new car which didn't have an obvious spot for a phone mount. In my past 3 cars I used a mount from Pro Clip as they had custom mounts for most cars, and the one for my vehicles mounted my cell in a fantastic spot, not over a vent, or the radio, etc.Unfortunately (at the time) the Pro Clip mount for my new car put it over vents. So I looked for a different solution and found this cupholder mount.Installation is a breeze. I went with the more typical, slide your phone in mount rather than the magnet one. Note that this unit comes with both. I Qi charge my phone during the day at work and overnight and I believe the metal/magnet part that you put on the back of your phone for the magnetic mount system they provide would interfere.No worries though because the more typical holder works flawlessly! Phone is easy in and out. Holds firmly. There's a little button on the back for releasing your phone. Works great!The only slight negative is that at the height it holds your phone, there's virtually zero room under your phone. Makes plugging in a charging cable (or in my case for using Android Auto) a squeeze. But then I realized I didn't need to fully recess the base into the cup holder! I simply loosened it a bit, pulled it up an inch, and re-tightened it. Easy peazy. Now it's the perfect height, room for my wire. Zero issues.

I think this is a great product and I use it daily. I also use it in two different cars with different size holders.I looked at other more expensive ones and compared the features. This unit is sturdy, adjustable, is reasonably priced and it holds my phone without me worrying about distractions or dropping it.Very happy with my purchase

I needed a new phone holder as my new car, a 2011 Prius, has a raised console and the long stalk I had on the previous holder meant that the phone would get in my way. Also the old phone holder would not enlarge enough to sit firmly in my large cupholder. This one has a short stalk and I can secure it pretty well in the extra big cupholder. This holder comes with adhesive pads to help it stay. It will hold a Galaxy S10 in a case but I find the bottom adjustable lip that keeps phone from sliding out is a bit shallow, meaning it is more like a ledge and doesn't encase the bottom edge. Still works though. (The bottom lip is a must. My slippery phone case meant that the phone would often fall out of the side clips on my previous holder and hide in the crack between console and seat in my old car! I would not be able to fish it out easily! If the designers only knew of the agony of losing a phone in your own car.

Would not recommend if your gear shift was in the center console next to the cup holders as my hand hit the holder every time I shifted. It also covered my other cup holder making it unusable.After two weeks of use, after a few turns to secure in the cup holder, the center post popped up and is not steady. The stand wobbles all the time and the post spins the phone rest.Also, depending on your protective case, it’s not easy to charge. My Otter Box has a protective covering over the charging port and could not plug in the charging cable while in the holder.
