Trader Dale's expertise and experience are evident in his writing, making this book a worthwhile read for anyone serious about trading. Some prior knowledge of trading concepts is helpful, but the author's explanations make the book accessible to beginners and experienced traders alike. Review: Simply excellent. A real life trader writes an honest e-book without hype or fluff. - First of all, I am not a Forex Trader and I am certainly not a Day Trader. I am a swing trader who uses stocks, options and leveraged ETFs for trading on a time scale of a few days to a month of holding period. However, I was certain that I could benefit from a guidance on the subject of volume profile. I was not disappointed. The author does an admirable job of educating about the importance of volume as the third dimension of a technical analysis, the price and time being the other two. His explanation of the market movers' footprint to be found in the volume bars is lucid and coherent. I had no difficulty buying his arguments trace the movement of the market makers from their volume footprint. Applying his observations on trade setups was a logical conclusion and I set about examining dozens of charts of equities prospectively to see the results. They work with proper precautions taken as described by him. It is rare to see advocates of this theory or that one admit to their failed trades. This author does it and makes good points to emphasize that nothing works 100% of the time in the markets. I will be re-reading this e-book again in a few weeks and may have a few notes to add at that time. This one of the best educational nugget I have found in a vast ocean of misinformation, idealistic and hopeful prattle about investing advice. It is a bargain at this price and could help you make better decisions in your trading experience. My many many thanks to the author for such a lucidly written short book about such an important subject. Review: Anyone Who's looking to learn about Volume Profile, this is the book and you can stop with this one. - Anyone Who's looking to learn about Volume Profile, this is the book and you can stop with this one. This book is chock full of great information that I've not found anywhere else and there are some great trading strategies in there to boot that you can put to use right away. There were so many aha moments in here as well that I'm sure others that have been studying the market for a while will have the same reaction I had time and time again. "Oh so that's why the market moves in that way, it's because of this or that..." So many things make more sense not only with utilizing the Volume Profile information that he has in this book but also in Dale's Order Flow Book as well which I also read after finishing the Volume Profile book. For Intraday traders alone, the Order Flow Book is a must. The Volume Profile ups the game tremendously and the Order Flow Profile book is the icing on the cake. You will not be disappointed at all and will definitely wish that you would have read either of these books long ago. Both books are very clear and concise with very little to no filler garbage. Dale lays all of the information out beautifully.

Helps to understand market zones where price might go next...
It helped me a lot to understand what the market price might do next once it has reached a specific volume zone within a specific trading session. You will understand more clearly what the price might do when it reaches a specific volume zone; "Is it going to break that zone and return break a zone and keep going to the next zone, reject the zone and return to the previous zone or range within a range zone sideways?"

Some decent info, many typos and errors.
I think the author did a good job of putting a lot of helpful info in this little book. However, there are a ton of typos and errors, especially in the early chapters. There are also many places where the author describes a chart and then the chart is missing. I'm primally a stock swing trader, but like reading about other styles and asset classes. I did learn some new things here and it's cool to see some approaches I would never consider our be able to pull off. But it's really hard to get past the errors. Editors are needed! I say that as a guy who self published a Kindle book on trading and bummed I let a few errors slip through. Again, no disrespect to the author. Consider editing and reposting. Thank you for your hard work and obvious passion for trading.

Very good introduction to VPA
The author takes you on a journey to understand the importance of volume. Very nicely written, perhaps a little too verbose. Wish the charts were more abundant, and on the page when the author is referring to them. Flipping back a couple of pages to look at the chart and flipping forward to continue reading was not fun. Also, the wicks were hard to see o the charts. In the next edition perhaps Anna can replace the charts to be o a white background, easier to see. Good book, definitely worth reading. Highly recommended.

Honest and extremely helpful
I’m immensely grateful to Dale for having written such a great and honest guide to his system. I love the no BS straight up and honest approach he has to his explanations. In the world of forex trading where there are many flakes and people just trying to get a quick buck off you, it’s a nice change to learn from someone who seems to truly walk the talk and then be totally open and honest about how he does it. Thank you Dale for being so open with your method and helping others get into the world of forex trading!

Google

This is what I was looking for!
I’ve read a lot of books within the last three years about Forex, and I would have to say that I’m glad to have added this one to my collection. The author of this book doesn’t try to complicate the strategy with a bunch of nonsense. I enjoy transparency, so I appreciated how he explained everything. Sometimes you need to read most of a book before something good presents itself, but this wasn’t one of them. It was enjoyable all the way through, and I found lots of good information throughout. Now I just need to decide if I want to expand on this through his course. Thank you for making this available.
