Mishimoto - MMOC-19BK Universal 19 Row Oil Cooler, Black

Purchased for my vintage race car, looks are on par with what I'm goin for, fit perfectly in the space I have, easy to mount. I managed to crack my first one, likely with the stresses from racing, Mishomoto replaced it quickly! Newly installed again with some bushings and a more flexible mount so hopefully this will not have the same issue as before.

I installed it in my 2008 bmw 335i as a secondary oil cooler. I have always bought Mishimoto parts directly from the website but i needed it fast so i ordered it from Amazon this time around. I was able to reduce my oil temps in this turbo car from 230F down to 200F. Just make sure there is good air flow coming to the oil cooler. In my history of using multiple Mishimoto parts, i have never had any problems with their hoses and this oil cooler. The 10an fittings are durable and rated up to 300F temperature. I have removed the fittings and put them back up to 3 times now when i was figuring out where to route the oil lines. What is nice is when you register their products in their website, you will automatically get lifetime warranty. I have asked them to replace one hose before and they sent it to me within 3 days. I pay for the name and the R&D behind it knowing that the products are backed by the company.

These seem to have good quality, similar to Setrab. This is my second one for my Subaru's.

Have a oil cooled turbo on a toyota 86 and this keeps it under 200f with very hard street/mountain road driving with multiple pulls. Have not had a chance for autox or track yet.

Mounting holes have no wiggle space.

Mishimoto is #1 in performance cooling. This external oil cooler did exactly what I needed it to keeping my 5.0 in optimal oil temp ranges during track days and Mexico road trips. Got it all fitted up with proper -10AN fittings and braided line to get it installed. One thing about this oil cooler to note would be that the color isn’t exactly “red”, it is close to red but I just wouldn’t be counting on it to even come close to matching any other typical red items you have.

Quality looks great, and it should for a top tier cooler. My only issue is the color. This was purchased for my modified Super Glide that runs hot. I took a chance stepping outside my comfort zone and decided on red. The red looks peach/pink in person. Not a big deal tucked behind a grill. On a motorcycle its a problem. The quality of the paint job looks great but the color is unacceptable.

My Ford 351 Windsor would run really high oil temps (280 deg). I installed this cooler along with Mishimoto's oil thermostat and now it hits 180 deg and stays put. All fittings are AN10 which can be somewhat pricey for the fittings and hose, but it made installation easy as pie. I used a Canton Racing Remote Oil Filter and run the oil to the filter, then into the thermostat and back to the remote adapter. Works like a champ.

Nice compact design, not too heavy and easy to mount in a custom install.
