ADAMS Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo with Precor for Dogs & Cats, 24 oz

I used this shampoo when my dogs needed extra help with fleas, and it worked well as part of our flea treatment routine. It lathers nicely and spreads easily through the coat, making bath time fairly straightforward. After washing, I noticed a significant reduction in fleas, and my pets seemed much more comfortable. The shampoo rinses out easily and left their coats feeling clean and soft without drying out their skin. The 24 oz bottle lasts a while, especially if you have multiple pets. I also appreciate that it can be used for both dogs and cats, which makes it convenient for multi-pet households. The scent is clean and somewhat medicinal, not a strong perfume fragrance. The shampoo is typically a golden-yellow to amber color.

I have always loved the Adam's Flea and tick shampoo. I recommend getting the creamy one. It doesn't seem to irritate my dog's skin. It seems to be very effective. She is flea and tick free. Thank god! It's really easy to use. You can either fill a bucket with water and put some in there or apply directly on the skin. And suds them up real well. It is pricey, of course, if you buy it in the big gallon size, it's a better deal. But it works, it smells good, and it's worth it

Water, water, everywhere. That's what you have when you try to bathe your cat. However, the shampoo lathered nicely, light pleasant smell. Part of a routine to get rid of fleas. Seemed to haven gotten rid of fleas on my indoor cats. Not drying. Good over all shampoo.

I purchased this flea shampoo to treat a friends 13 week old poodle pup, which was experiencing a flea infestation. The shampoo worked immediately killing the fleas, which were falling off the pup while waiting the 5 minutes before rinsing. The shampoo left the pups hair very soft without any side effects. After combing through the hair no fleas were found and it no live fleas have been found on the pup since. The plan is to wash the adult black Labrador as well to combat the fleas problem and the pup every 28 days. My only complaint is the shampoo listing stated it came with a pump for the bigger bottle and it didn’t.

Great soap for our dogs. Smells good and keeps their hair clean and soft. Very easy to use with the included pump; very effective.

Smells good and very affective as I use it in a spray bottle to spray down the the cats.

I've been using Adam's for years. I trust the product and it's results. The reason for 3 stars is the same reason alot of other people talk about. It did not come with a pump top as advertised. Why show what you're supposed to get and not send what one paid for. I did not see a disclaimer stating your order may or may not come with a pump top. That top would make it so much easier to use when washing your lil or big friend.

I put a little bit in the bath and then used it directly on my cats, and it killed the fleas instantly. Unfortunately, I have multiple cats so I had to bathe them all. The scent is amazing, but it has the IGR properties which will break and kill the eggs. I’ve also had my house sprayed by a professional who uses IGR in addition to the pryethroids. I have also purchased Zevo, which was not tested on fleas, but it is working like a charm. I also bought another flea trap by Terro, which works well also. Unfortunately, having multiple cats, it’s going to take me some time to get all the fleas out of my house, but the Zevo and the Terro flea trap are working very well.
