Cut Smoothly Through Sheet Metal
I’ve been using the HURRICANE 10-inch aviation tin snips for a few projects around the house, and they’ve proven to be very capable. The build quality feels solid thanks to the chrome vanadium steel, and the blades are sharp enough to cut through sheet metal without much effort. They make clean straight cuts and don’t leave jagged edges, which is important for a smooth finish. The handles are designed well—they give a good grip and don’t slip in the hand. At first, the movement was a little stiff, but after a few uses, the action felt smoother. They also feel balanced in the hand, which helps when making longer cuts. These are definitely heavy-duty shears that should hold up well with repeated use. For anyone working with sheet metal or similar materials, this is a dependable tool to keep in the toolbox.

They work great!
I needed to cut galvanized sheet metal and these went through it like sharp scissors thru paper. Nice straight line with very little effort. Glad I bought them.

Decent quality
Seem like really decent tools. Came in a nice canvas case that rolls up. Just did some test cuts on some scrap and they worked just fine. Haven't used for a big cut yet. Seems worth it for the price.

Seem to be what I needed
I know this might sound ridiculous, but I needed a way to dispose of credit cards that are made out of actual metal (think your Apple card or you Prime card) as they will not go through a shredder. I bought these and was able to cut the expired cards with no issues at all. I was able to get small and thin cuts to make it harder for someone to try to put back together if they wanted to. There was really no effort on my part to cut through. I was also able to use them to strip some of the markings off the cards too. I appreciate how they seem like high quality for the price. Now just to see how they hold up long term.

The best snips I have used. These cut 20g sheet steel like butter. The cutting nose is very precise as well. Highly recommended for any sheet metal application.

Got it to cut a thin metal plate. It did the job well. I haven't found another use of this thing but it's very well made and deserves a spot in my toolbox.
